I don't really believe that men in such large numbers became priests with pedophilia being a goal from the onset. Something is obviously wrong with these dudes though (maybe they have no other options), and abstinence is just not natural. It's a ing global epidemic though.

Church attracts pedophiles. They foster it and provide shelter and opportunity. They put some ex-something, just found Jesus type in charge of a group of kids and there's too much alone time. After all God sees everything and only his will shall be done. Church is the hiding place for rejects and the lowest form of s on the planet. It has good people too, but that "turn the other cheek" mantra invites the child molesters, and the church's place in society forms a shield that only ousts offenders, nothing else.

Had a guy knock at my door a few nights ago saying he was with some local ministry, his friend just found Jesus. Asked if they could pray for me. I asked them if Jesus ever asked his disciples to pray for him. They left.

I was in college in a duplex. Was doing some day drinking and a couple Mormons knocked on the door. I made the drunk mistake of letting them in. For some reason thinking it might be interesting. I don't remember what they talked about. But they must have come back 20 more times and knocked on the door. I never answered it again. I still remember that one of them was called "Elder Helzer". Which in my head, I still sing to the tune of "Helter Skeler."
