The only threads that were worthy of 12bombs had nothing to do with basketball. They had nothing to do with the Lakers.

Now, please stop ging up my basketball threads. Adults are attempting to converse.

Kareem played the majority of his career in the weakest NBA era in history: the 70s. Scoring and per game stats were inflated across the board.

Now Kareem is a GOAT level player, but he's not averaging those numbers in the late 90s and 00s.

Duncan actually has better per 100 possessions stats.
    this tbh

Lakers fans are like Avante comparing actual QBs stats with Joe Montana and co... not taking into consideration pace of the game... what a bunch of gots

GTFO here with that bull . Nobody in their right mind thinks KAJ couldn't play at an elite level in ANY era. And no one sure as would rank Jim ahead of him. We're you drunk posting? If so, I understand. It happens.

Roberto, you should read before posting

Mid was responding a naruto lover about KAJ washing Tim on points and rebounds, nobody is saying KAJ would not do well in today's nba dumb , we just say gap is closer between the two when you adjust pace and we point out that Tim has better per 100 possessions.

you a good fellow but a tad stupid tbh...

    carry on

I think it's a tad 'stupid' to judge someone's intelligence on a message board.

Let's put this into perspective. You made this thread to big up Jim as if he's done something great, but in reality all you did was show how lethargic Jim's numbers are compared to a living legend.

    Kareem retired with 38k points.
    Kareem retired with 17k boards
    Kaeem retired with 3200 blocks.

The only likeness Jim has with Kareem is blocks. Everything else is a ing wash.
Kareem played the majority of his career in the weakest NBA era in history: the 70s. Scoring and per game stats were inflated across the board.

Now Kareem is a GOAT level player, but he's not averaging those numbers in the late 90s and 00s.

    ^ Exactly Mid.

    Per 100 possessions:

    Points:

    Kareem: 29.9
    Duncan: 29.8
    Winner: Kareem +0.345%

    Rebounds:

    Kareem: 13.1
    Duncan: 16.9
    Winner: Duncan +29%

    Assists:

    Kareem: 4.5
    Duncan: 4.7
    Winner: Duncan +4.3%

    Blocks:

    Kareem: 3.4
    Duncan: 3.4
Winner: Even, though Kareem doesn't get credit for his first 4 seasons since they didn't track blocks yet.

    Though, Kareem TS%: 59.2 vs Duncan's 55.1 (Kareem+7.4%)

    Pace means a lot.

Also, if Duncan plays two more seasons, he will be pretty close to Kareem's totals in rebounds despite playing way less minutes (Duncan is only 21 shy of 15k, he's way over 14k) while likely past him in blocks unless he misses a ton of time. Kareem is only way ahead in points. Safe to say Duncan is by far the better rebounder of the two because he is.

And to think that Duncan spent most of his peak playing in some of the slowest paces in league history where points and rebounds, while Kareem spent most of his on the fastest paced era in basketball, with many of his top compe ion playing in the ABA.
That's a good way to put it in perspective.

Neither of them have a Bronze Medal or a tongue rang. Nor were they Cucked for $26 million. Neither let the Clipps tap that ass in the playoffs either. He's hardly "with them" when you really think about it like I have.

You talking medals,,,I'm talking les,,,lmao. Duncan's only lost 1 time in the Finals,,,wanna guess how many times KAJ has?,,,,and Wilt?,,,,well,,,lets just say,,,

In Chamberlain's first seven years, his teams went 0-for-5 in playoff series against his nemesis, Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics. "That's when people really started calling me 'loser,' " Chamberlain said.
