Grey Moss Inn
Grey Moss Inn
Aldos on Fredericksburg isn't too bad.
Now we are getting somewhere...
Is the Grey Moss Inn cool? What's it like? Also, the food... steaks? pasta??? what do they have?
Grey Moss the place isn't fancy at all and they have a great wine list. I haven't been there in years, but it wasn't that good the last time I was. We also had a waiter that talked our ear off. Which is probably why we haven't been back.
But they usually have deer in the parking lot!

Okay, thats what I figured, that place is out.
Ok... whats another place?
Disregard my damn suggestion will you!![]()
This is the Grey Moss Inn? It looks like Abuelitas on the Southside.![]()
yeah, it's reeeaaaallly cramped in there.
Well, thats about as fancy as I get. Otherwise, I'd rather go to a place with good food. We went to Azucar a few weeks back and that place is incredible but I don't think it is Annivery intimate by any means.
Aldos sounds like a cool place. What about J. Alexanders in the Quarry?
J. Alexander's is good. Dark. Pretty wood. We've always had really good service. Like a lot of nice restaurants, the menu isn't overflowing with options though.

Carie
ETA: Their salad's (especially the Alex Salad) and croissants are wonderful!
Po Po's in Welfare.
J. Alexanders is really good, but it's loud in there because it's really open and it's a young wait staff
I read your post as you wanted places other than Ruth's Chris, GRey Moss Inn, etc.
In that case, go to Ruth's Chris. It's quiet, dark, intimate and excellent service (at those prices, it better be). I've never had a bad meal or experience there. And they don't try to rush you. It's way bettern than Mortons.
Ruth Chris does rule. That is probably at the top of the list, but I wanted to see what else is out there.
We've been to Mortons also, its a nice place to, the only problem was it was crowded, we were in booths, which I can't touch the ground when I am sitting, so comfort was a little poor, but it was pretty neat though.
Well, then you should like Aldo's. I was reading the online reviews and they were all good.
The truth is out there.
The food at J.Alexanders sucks.
We've been there a few times in the last few months and everything we've had was pretty disgusting.
Thanks Kori.
Alexander off the list.
So, it's Aldos or Ruth Chris...
Any others?
I've heard nothing but good things about Aldo's.
I've never been there before though.
I'd go with Aldo's.
But then again, I think steak is overrated.
