All the ladies...Juvenille-Back that ass up.
"Lean Back" by Fat Joe.
it usually makes me 'lean back, lean back'.![]()
All the ladies...Juvenille-Back that ass up.
That song by REM. I think it was called, "Losing My Religion (spelled right???)." Everytime I hear that song, I think of a party I was at where I really just wanted to go home. It was so boring.
I totalled my dad's car with Eric Clapton's "Change the World" on the radio, so I don't particularly like that song.
Ha Ha Ha Ha The Song From Phenomenom.....a H Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha That Is Priceless
I wrecked my Ford Ranger back in '97. I was listening to "Poison" by Bel Biv Devo.
You were listening to BBD in 1997?
Wow.![]()
THAT'S A GOOD LIST
ADD SOME PETER FRAMPTON AND PAT TRAVERS ON FOR ME
It's a phenomenon that applies only to my high school, I think, but every time I hear Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" I have to stop because I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I'm transported back to Northside (now Gustafson) Stadium on a fall evening in the 1980's.
Somehow, that band director's decision to play that song every time our football team needed a lift and our decision to take his decision seriously while on the football field has left me with some indelible connection to that song.

Let It Be. When I was in First Grade, some teens (hippies as my mom called them back then) played Let It Be EVERY SINGLE MORNING over and over while we were getting ready for school. It had just been released and evidently, they liked it! My mom hates that song to this day.
Different story but Hilarious
Talk about old...
In 1987 I was in the Ingram Park Mall and searching for a CD, since I had just purchased my first CD player.
Anyway, I digress...
Two teens were also shopping. The song playing over the store speakers was was "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks. One kid looked at the other and said, "Hey dude, someone remade that OLD Van Halen song!" I rolled!
I was working in Austin the time tat Wayne's world came out and was singing Bohemian Rhapsody at work when they played it on the the radio. Those kids had no clue as to how I knew all the worlds to the song because it was brand new. I told them it was old from 1975...they did not believe me so I brought in my 33 1/3 vinyl of "A Night At The Opera". Shut them up pretty quick.
That album also had "You're My Best Friend"
How far back do we want to go?
childhood?
teens?
college?
Eventhough I ing hate this song, "Sex and Candy" by Marcy's Playgroud takes me back to spring break '98. It was the first time me and my girlfriend, at the time, spent the weekend alone with out parents. She was obsessed with that song and wanted to to it all weekend long. I don't think we left the hotel other than to buy food, papers and rubbers. My balls were licked clean that weekend. Yes they were.
Anything by INXS or Van Halen's 1984. Panama and Jump especially.

I remember getting all excited about going to that club on the South side named Image. I know you all remember that one. I use to get all pumped to that song, "Lookout Weekends." I don't know the name of the girl or group that sang it.
