Just been to Blacks in Lockhart. Really good. Going to try the other places around there.
It's my least favorite place in Lockhart. City Market down the road in Luling is my favorite in that area.
LA BBQ was my fave when John Lewis was pitmaster, but I haven't been since he left to open a place in Charlestown. They still have the smokers he and his dad built, though.
Sorry I thought you were referring to Woodshed Smokehouse for some reason, that place is really disappointing but it's in FW anyway. Why anyone would slice sausage into thin pieces and dry it out is beyond me.
LaBBQ is really good. I just thought Pecan Lodge was a bit better.
Best place to eat in Dallas is in between Findog's mom's legs.
