Parker plays good in RS: "Regular season, let's see what happens in the playoffs."
Parker plays good in playoffs: "Jordan Farman, Boobie Gibson."
stop jerking off got, let's see what he does against Westbrick and Chicken Curry. If he makes us eat crow, then great. We've seen this movie before though.

Oh, if he doesn't outplay the reigning MVP (and soon to be back to back MVP) you can say "I told you so" I guess.

People unhappy because your starting PG, who you need to play well, played well. This shtick has evolved into otherworldly level of stupidity.

Good to see, but I don't think this series will tell us anything, good or bad..the Spurs are playing against a team that would probably finish last in the West if they replayed the season, tbh

Haha exactly. Parker already outplayed Curry in the playoffs. But I guess if he doesn't do it on Curry's back-to-back MVP season (greatest season ever, best shooter ever) in his 15th year in the league, then Parker clearly sucks.

Yeah outplayed him when Curry was walking on a bum ankle throughout that season and sprained it again in game two of that series. Way to forget all that.

The Grizzlies are even worse than the 2013 DLeague Lakers the Spurs played.

Nice of both of them to show up though. Hopefully it's something they can do consistently in this run.

Tony won't outplay Curry and he doesn't have to. He just has to compete on both ends of the floor and not get embarrassed If Tony relies on Patty and Manu to bail him out, they'll get punished.

I stand corrected then. All I remember from that series is Curry ing up his ankle, Barnes abusing the Spurs and Wing Stop doing work on D when Pop put Green (?) on Curry.

I thought he was MVPorker? Now it's "he just has to compete"?

Not expecting to outplay him, I just want consistency out of Parker and Patty (and Green showing up this season at some point).

Thought y'all gots wanted him to be a role player who takes less shots? Now he has to outplay WB or Curry/CP3

At this point, he needs to be warming a bench in France or something, because he's too washed for the NBA.

At least he gets selected to his national team, tbh can't say the same for Kiwi. Collangelo would pick Kobe before he picks him.

"On sacrificing a spot for Bryant based largely on the sentimental component and the fact that a) the 12th man won’t play much and b) Team USA will be heavily favored to win gold regardless of who fills that spot …“Let’s just put it this way: on one hand, you have what you just proposed. On the other hand, if someone is left off the team, like Kawhi Leonard or Paul George — and I’m just using names — for that purpose, then you have to weigh that fairness, to some degree. That’s all. So it’s not an easy call, and it’s one that I don’t have to make for quite some time. And I’m going to stick to that. I’ve got plenty of time. With out further ado ..."

If he wants to be MVPorker, he has to play like an MVP.
For our sake, he better. We go as far as he takes us.
