Even without Curry for the first 2-3 games, I don't trust the Clippers to do against the Warriors.

It's not correct to say "no damage." If there's a sprain, that means there is some damage.

In before Curry returns for game 4, Clippers pull the biggest choke in history, backdoor sweep, and ESPN makes a do entary about how awesome Draymond and his mom are.
That nig is playing in game 3 on a bum ankle regardless. Remember when everyone thought Ibaka was done for the season in 2014 then, BAMMM, back for game three? The Warriors and media have a built in excuse if the they lose.

I guess plan here is to pull for the Clippers and then hope W's finish off Houston in 5 at home. No way in Houston is winning two in GS, so no reason to delay the inevitable. Get a real opponent facing Curry-less GS.

Watching Draymond is going to be very interesting. I think maybe he's not too unhappy about this. He's an Alpha Dog, and now he probably thinks this is his time.

I also think Draymond is one unstable . I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him go off on someone, now that he's "in charge."
He's always in charge. Steph is the best player on the Warriors but it's clear that Draymond is their leader.

I know for some of you haters it's disappointing but as great as Curry he is he is a routine and rhythm player. He was effective but far from great before he got hurt in the last game.. My guess is he will need an additional 2 or 3 games to get close to where he was during his MVP season.
Clips could put a scare in in the Dubs if they can steal game 1 or 2 sans Curry which is possible.
My guess even if he returns in time for game 3 or 4 he wont be himself until Game 6 or 7...

And yes the CLips have problems of their own but they aint the Rockets There will be no 3-1 lead after 4 games if Curry misses most of those. but if Dubbs do survive even after a long series the rest Curry gets in the long run might be helpful vs. Spurs/Cavs/OKC

This is a big deal. The Clippers are a damn good team and playing well. If Curry is out vs LAC for 3 games, they could easily be down 3-0 or 2-1.

It's not insignificant by any stretch and it's why I don't get why Laker fans keep acting like it helps the Spurs. Spurs wouldn't play GS until the WCF and this helps LAC, not SA. If Curry is out, Spurs likely play a fully healthy and very good LAC team in the WCF. It's not a cakewalk.

If GS is in the WCF it means Curry is likely back (of course there is a small chance GS could beat LAC without Curry, just not likely).

He says he's the emotional leader of the team.

Maybe he can lead the team into lots of techs if someone plays him as he plays them.

GSW could go down 2-0 and get Curry back by game 3 and still win that series.

On this, we agree. Clips could pose a legit threat sans Curry.
Draymond wont be able to help on defense as much because he will have to defend Blake same with Bogut who has to watch jordan for lobs and offensive rebounds ...

If Curry plays at least 4 full games I think Dubs still win but the Clips will be no cakewalk.

This is nothing like Ibaka lol.

MCL Sprain typically 2-4 weeks. But it's not like you're 100% after that time frame and an MCL is all about changing directions which is needed for Steph.

    They're ed.
