He did beat the best version of the HarDone/Dwert Rockets without homecourt & a 2nd year point guard. He did so by badly outcoaching McHale during crunchtime in that overtime feast series.

McHale on the other hand outcoached the same Doc that beat Pop w/ his double screens. (Stotts solved Doc's traps)

You are selling him short tbh... I did not say they will beat GSW btw but they will certainly bother them sans Curry imo
