ST per par, nothing new.
I'm going with apo''s aunt. It should be fun. I will be the guy sitting there with a big bucket of popcorn on my lap and a big grin on my face. She will be the lady with butter all over her hand and a serious wrist cramp.
It's kind of tough not to be a bit down. The Spurs looked like the 2014 team to start the series, and they haven't managed to look anything like that since. They've been very inconsistent lately. The fans that have been saying that they're going to go SPAM on the league are starting to lose faith. They play really well and get out to a double digit lead, then they fall asleep and give the whole thing up. If their play of late is good enough to beat OKC in six or seven games, it's certainly not enough to even hang with the Warriors.
Spurs win between 20-30 pointswrite it down.
It's years and years of ups and downs. Whether it be 2004, 2006, 2011, 2013, and so many other years.... A lot of these new bandwagon folks weren't around back then. This cliff jumping occurs every year, just par for the course on ST
IDK about everybody else but i believe in this team.
Every time they step on the court I believe they have a good chance of winning. I don't care if its against the Thunder, the Warriors or the Cavs, this team can hang with the best of them because they are one of the best.
Inconsistencies happen. People drool over the warriors because they beat a team thats full of a bunch of chuckers and one dimensional players. Should've been a sweep tbh. But they had some inconsistent moments which they lucked out on since the Blazers really aren't that great. Blazers are the same level as the Hawks.
But Spurs are battling a tough team. I believe we are better than OKC and we will prevail in Game 5 and finish them off in Game 6.
And once we play the Warriors, it will be about one game at a time, one possession at a time. This team has the best defense in the league which has been showcased this playoffs. It will be showcased in the Warriors series as well. It won't be easy, but this team can not only hang but can beat them.
Every game will be a different story but until it ends, never count the Spurs out.
Cmon Spurs Fans
Always support my Spurs, tbh, it's just hard to ignore this might be Timmy's (and potentially Manu) last series in a Spurs uniform, and OKC didn't look like worldbeaters in the regular season either...
Same questions we had all seasons keep happening, which Danny Green will show up? Which Patty will show up?... you always hope for the best...
Danny is fine. They just didnt give him any looks. Its patty that's been stinking up this series.
I'm not that worried about the Thunder with a best of 3 series and the Spurs having home court they should advance to the next round. Now against the Warriors I have no idea how the Spurs are going to stop Eliancito, did you see the game last night? The warriors have so many players that step up or hit a timely 3 at the right time. Sad to say but this is the Warriors year as they have had lady luck by their side all year long.
They'll play better at home. I hope they punch them in the mouth in the 1st quarter.
Darius Bieber tbh.
Meh,Waiters elbow to Manu's face was shades of the 2012 OKC fix tbh.
And let's face it,which team is gonna generate $$$ in the WCF? Durant/Westbrook or the Spurs.Look at all the bs fouls called on the Spurs last game,a team that historically doesn't foul.
It is after all sports entertainment and if the franchise you root for happens to "wag the dog" well
My main concerns are two, while i thought we could win in 5, which would be likely if the Spurs got the call on Aldrigge in the last seconds of game 2 and/or the foul on Manu, the way the refs have been allowing one defense to be extremelly physical and make two players untouchable makes me have doubts, the other thing is that neither the Spurs or Leonard in particular seem ready to win it all.
I couldnīt care less if we win in 6 or 7 right now, the problem is that the Spurs are not playing like a top contender, neither our star is playing like the second in MVP voting.
Also it doesnīt help that Duncan seems unable to stay on the floor, and we wasted the best game from Tony and Aldridge, among with the two best Manu performances, all looses.
The troll thread gets more clicks then the fan threads.
So yeah let's think positive...
I'm positive OKC wins by 20 on Thursday
These "positivity" threads are such garbage...
