What does that have to do with your original comment? That Durant is a great player and should be getting the ball? No one is debating that.
i think there should be a greater emphasis on getting kawhi the ball, whether that comes from the point guard, the coach, or kawhi himself

he's capable of taking over late in games, we've seen it. its frustrating when we go away from it. OKC is usually able to get the ball to KD when they need him late

    Bench certainly didn't produce

    Wasted game from Green
we wasted a LMA giant game, we wasted a revival game for Parker on the road, we wasted a good game from Green at home.... ya we deserve to be where we are right now

Without Tim this team is lost tbh... there is a reason why Pop is always saying that Tim is the fundation of everything for the Spurs. Team is not prepared to cope with POs without him. Even Pop seems to be lost without his HOFer tbh

Oh yes. Leonard was the problem. Good call OP.

Imagine if Leonard shot nearly as good as LMAlpha and MVParker did.

Or showed the work ethic and ability to stay in shape like Diaw.

If only he'd box out and hit the glass like the other bigs.

Maybe show a little heart on defense.

Clearly the weak link of the starters. Wonder if he could keep up with the sizzling bench?

Kawhi was the least of our problems last night. I wish he would have been a little more aggressive in the fourth, but that was more than made up for by his boatload of steals, rebs, and points earlier in the game. The problems were/are:

    1) No bigs to stop Adams/Kanter from grabbing a million boards and getting easy put-backs

    2) Tim Duncan going full geriatric (see also #1)

    3) Pop being a stubborn mule and not giving Boban a chance to see what he can bring to the table (see also #1)

    4) Pop playing West and Diaw simultaneously for long stretches at critical junctures (see also #1)

    5) The refs treating the Spurs like they are playing a game of "Operation" while allowing OKC to go full street ball mode

    6) Parker playing some serious hero ball at critical junctures of the game, resulting in bad shots

    7) Aldridge going stone cold from the field in the fourth

Second most votes for MVP but unable to lead us past the other MVP finalists. Can we count on him to lead us as future after Big Three?
