The only players on the Spurs that will net them a lottery pick would be Aldridge and Kawhi. Neither of those players are getting traded until the Spurs decide to blow everything up, which is unlikely considering the fact that they are still a threat to reach the WCF next season even without Duncan and Manu.

Green, Diaw, and Mills could be the only real movable assets and I am being generous with Diaw. I don't know why anyone would take him after his stint with the Bobcats and this past season.
I believe Diaw will have the opportunity to go on permanent safari this off season. Mid-season I stated that we could not afford to allocate a roster spot or cap space to a coaster. I doubt we would have gotten much of anything in exchange for Diaw last off-season. Nobody would take him off our hands this coming off-season. Our tradeable assets are Anderson, Green, Mills and Parker. It is relatively certain that Pop will not trade Tony. (Hopefully, he can become a good sixth man for the next couple of seasons.) So, Anderson, Green and Mills are really our only good trade pieces. Big problem is - aside from Kawhi - Green and Mills are our only probable returning three-point shooters (such as they are). Green showed signs of life during our briefer-than-expected playoff run. Unless we can get a serious upgrade, I expect Green to remain a Spur. So, realistically that leaves only Anderson and Mills as moveable assets. A number of ST posters continue to have hopes for Anderson's development, and I believe there are some teams who would like to obtain him for an asset we would value. Mills, less so. Consistent with our historic MO, I do not expect the Spurs to make any significant trades. I expect us to retool with mid-level FAs, possibly a foreign "stash" and our draft pick - or perhaps a higher pick we acquire with our own and, say, Anderson.

I would not get too worked up over Green's shooting this year. I think the fact that Aldridge and Duncan want to stay in the same general spots on offense, limited the looks Green could get. I think that next year he shoots better than 45% from three.

If you're going to be JJ Re , you deserve to be picked 3rd in this draft. That's not too high.

MCW lacks the one most important skill in the NBA - shooting. That's kind of a big issue. For free I'd grab him but he'll cost at least Mills and the first.
There is no way anyone is giving up a rotation player AND a 1st rd for MCW.

Evan Turner was essentially traded for a 2nd rd pick as Danny Granger was a salary dump.

I`d get 3rd pick to choose Buddy Hield, but RC probably won`t trade Bonner -.-

You think you could get a 3rd overall pick for Bonner + Diaw, really? Expiring contracts? Can't be the basketball prowess (Diaw is good but he's gone already mentally).

Trade Parker to Minnesota if he falls to to them tbh
He could go anywhere from 3-7? Denver and Boston both have too many picks in this draft, and picks in the 3-7 range, while Minnesota could do with a vet like TP and have #5. It's possible but, like it or not, I just don't see Pop and RC trading Tony, unless he asks for it. It's just not what they do.
Tony isn't getting you a top 5 lottery pick. The market for Parker is a le contender needing a veteran point guard. Bad teams aren't going to give up a young prospect for a down side of prime player. Parker's highest value was like three years ago. I don't think there are many options to trade him. I actually think Patty Mills is the guard to trade.
Spurs will never... eveeeer.. trade Tony Parker

The first is the 29th pick. Let's not kid ourselves that it's worth much and Mills only has one year till FA.

Might as well keep Kyle & replace Patty w/ MCW when the BOTH become FAs next summer. That's how the Celtics picked up Turner.

I think we should just trade Patty for Porzingod and try to bring in Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant. We could go big like no one in the league. Then we could get Lillard, Kryie and Curry and go small when we needed to. We could bring Klay off the bench along with The 6ers 1st overall pick (he's a rookie for Christ's sake) and of course Tony would be our starting PG.
