Jones looked timid - if he would have been more aggressive, especially later in the fight, I think he could have won. By round 9 Tarver was visably out of gas - but Jones wouldn't throw punches.

the Corrales-Castillo fight was one of the best I had seen in a long while, those 2 dudes beat the crap outta each other all night, neither would budge, it was great!

Same here, one of the best but I always have to go with the Ward-Gatti fights.

I wacthed the fight at a friends. Jones is done! He looked scared. He was basically trying not to get knocked out. He looked like he was trying to stay away from the action. I was very disapointed in Jones. The judges had an easy night, thats for sure. Tarver with a unanimous (how the do you spell that???? ) decision.

Tarver remains the champ. Good for him, I have no problem with that,he is a good fighter.

One thing needs to be said though . . .

Roy Jones Jr. is still one of the BEST fighters EVER in Boxing history. This fight did not tarnish his legendary status what-so-ever. The fighter we've been watching the last 3 fights is merely Roy Jones Jr's s . So nobody should be second guessing Roy, or his long reign in Boxing.

You are abosutely right. He was one of the great ones, but I dont understand why boxers step into the ring when they are not what they used to be. I am not saying this tarnished his career, but why do so many athletes do that?
