3 out of 4 of the games in the Lakers/Nets series were decided by only a few points. There was only one blowout in that series. I do agree with the Rockets/Magic being the most entertaining sweep.
So what, the Lakers were just toying with them and I rememeber thinking that at the time.

I agree just responding to hitman since he didn't remember that series.

    It really is.

I can't pin point why...Bu I've enjoyed every finals since I started watching basketball...
I have nothing against the cavs and the warriors...I actually enjoyed watching last years finals. But this year is a reall bore.
    Same.

What's worse, it's easily the most likely match-up next season and even if/when Love is traded for pieces that match-up better, it's difficult to envision that altering the outcome, especially with James another year older.

The lack of a challenge makes it boring. OKC vs. GSW was an interesting and thrilling series.
The league should do something about the seeding bc seeing Lebron lose season after season will get to be a real bore and it already is.

I'm a Spurs fan but there is always something special about the Lakers vs Celtics in the finals.

I have been watching basketball since '91 and I would say sweeps tend to be the worst finals. I have witness 3 sweeps in Magic-Rockets,Nets-Lakers,Spurs-Cavs. This will probably be the worst one from an entertainment standpoint since the margin of victory at the rate its going will be the highest ever for a finals sweep.
Yup...Dubs will probably eclipse the 2014 Spurs' CMOV of 70 points in the Finals, and do it in one fewer game.

Watching the greatest team of all-time operate is basketball at it's finest, tbh..

I didn't watch the 2000 and 2002 Finals, so can't comment, but the worst Finals I've ever watched(from an aesthetic standpoint):

    1. 1998 Finals
    2. 2010 Finals
    3. 2007 Finals
    4. 2003 Finals
    5. 1997 Finals
Good list. I would add 96 Finals and 99 Finals too.

On the other hand, the 2005 Finals was one of the greatest Finals ever.

yep. No Heat vs. Spurs in 2013 but comapred to the last three that was a masterpiece.

Spur fans I know you loved 2014 ... but that was boring ... compe ion wise. It was some beautiful passing and shooting but only on one side.
The greatest display of basketball ever played on an NBA finals can't never be boring son.

    It just got interesting...way interesting.
When the Cavs move of starting Richard Jefferson can completely flummox the mighty Warriors...
Well, you know you've got a series on your hands.

If I had to pick a top 5 Finals I have seen they'd be

    1. 1988 Lakers over Pistons
    2. 1984 Celtics over Lakers
    3. 2013 Heat over Spurs
    4. 2014 Spurs over Heat
    5. 1986 Celtics over Rockets

    Bottom five would be
    1. 2007 Spurs over Cavs
    2. 1994 Rockets over Knicks
    3. 2002 Lakers over Nets
    4. 2003 Spurs over Nets
    5. 1989 Pistons over Lakers

No 2005 Spurs over Pistons? That was a great series. Back n forth all the way to a game 7 decided in the final minutes. What more can you acts for?
