That's the only purpose of following sports, other than appreciating human achievement.

    Other options?

Take up a sport yourself. Maybe you don't have the time to dedicate yourself in the gym to get the proper conditioning to routinely play soccer or basketball at a high level, so Mid is going to do you a favor and suggest you honor your Filipino heritage and take up pool.

I was at a gathering at one of my girls coworkers a month ago and I was getting humiliated by women in the pool table.

I play sports. Have soccer wed and Sat.

I guess im just getting tired following sports. Probably just need a few months break.

I usually take an off-season break from the NBA. Once the season starts, you'll be refreshed.

I was a big sports fanatic in my 20s, but now in my later 30s with a busy job and wife and kids, I don't have as much interest as I use to. I pretty much just follow the teams I root for instead of watching every single game like I used to. Me and my wife find ourselves watching either children's programming or the news more than anything else.

Yeah, when you get older, things change. I usually start watching intent during the playoffs, which is why I always randomly show up on this site come playoff time.

Work, study, have sex, eat, hang out with friends and family, go out to clubs, fool around in the internet, play videogames, watch movies, and watch and play sports.

    That's all.
if he could do those things he wouldn't be begging for our sympathy in the nba forum.

i've told guys that you insult single guys as virgins and married guys as cucks. They never take the step to figure it out. Trolling use to be something in my day, guys actually cared about content and didn't just use a paint by numbers guide.

Same for me. Since my boy was born 2 years ago everything else takes a backseat. I still follow sports but I find myself skipping games now. With that said my boy has taken an interest in basketball so he watches the playoffs with me. I had to get him his own basketball hoop last month and he's hitting trick shots already

I hired a guy that was about 23 that got a statutory rape charge (charges were pending when we hired him so he cleared background) he was a Teacher and Soccer coach and had sex with a 16.5 year old that he was "mentoring".

I m sorry El but your boy got to stay away from that ... My employee lost his teaching license, the job he had as corporate trainer at WAMU/CHASE ..and spent some time in jail. Nicest guy you would want to meet. But not only did he use bad judgment but the chick he developed the relationship with grandfather was a judge and sought a max punishment against the guy ...smh. So sad. Leave under 18 yo girls alone not worth it even if some looks like grown ass women.

Better to cheer for something you can control, your own life, than living vicariously through others, while doing nothing for yourself.

    ?

Have you also met someone who lost interest?

I'm obviously a huge basketball and Soccer fan. I watch huge boxing fights and in general I know a lot about sports....

But lately I've been thinking about how it serves me no purpose other than entertainment and I am seriously getting tired of folloiwng sports. I have thought of other forms of entertainment, but none of them are consistent enough to occupy me..

I really wish I had something else that occupied my daily entertainment. I barely play video games. Im not into TV shows that much...so what other options are there?

I enjoy going out in the weekends beach, other activities etc..but I cant do that on the weekdays.

Smdh..wish there was something else to do.

I dobt give ab F about politics either..

Just walk away and never come back.

It is. I'm getting it all on video for the do entary if he becomes a basketball star one day lol. He's also starting to repeat anything I say with regularity so I have to watch my mouth now. My wife and I run a vulgar household and we call each other every name in the book, in a loving way of course lol.

In my case, I lost the passion for beisbol. I played it for most of my youth up until my freshman year in high school. I don't follow it closely as much as I once did. I'll watch the Fall Classic and the All-Star game, but it just doesn't have the nostalgia factor for me any longer.

As long as he's 5'10" he could be jumping center in the Filipino league.

same here. I also used to listen to games on the radio when I went to bed. Loved the sounds from the ballpark and the cadence of the announcers.

Now I'll pretty much go a whole season without watching a game on TV until the playoffs. And that's only if the Rangers are involved.
Still enjoy watching a game in person though.

It's actually kind of true, .... I go through stretches where I have quite a few girls talking to me at once (I'm at least dating/sexing one), and stretches where I can't get a mermaid if she fell into a boat with T-Pain. It's hardly explainable, I tell ya.

I agree. It was poor judgement on his part. They were dating and having sex before he was ever 18 btw. Point is that hardly makes him "a sick child rapist". To act like that is the same as a sick ing pedo like Avante is ridicoulus

Yep. I think he ended up getting Stat rape and Child pornography, he had naked pictures of her on his phone. Registered offender for life.

Has to go to monthly "sex offenders" meetings or had to for awhile at least, not sure anymore. Haven't talked to him in awhile. He was telling me there would be guys in there talking about their urges to kids and he went off on them he would get in trouble "for judging, because they don't judge "
