Went from worst passing team in league to best passing team in league. He's smart. Why would he want to play with a guy you yourself call "WestBrick?" You're losing your own argument...
WestBrick outplayed Wardell who was horrible in the Finals.

Nice to see someone that is not butt hurt as about this. Everyone else is doing the same thing, but hes Kevin Durant, and he will get major attention. If he were to sign with SA, people on this board would be defending the move like crazy. The hypocrisy is expected, but I didn't think people would be this salty.
This is the scenario with the warriors

    won the ship in '15,
73 wins in 16', had 3 chances to win back to back championships, but lost green for 1 game and bogut in game 5

Without Durant, gsw are most likely the favourites to win it all next year, durant is a beta bandwagoner. This GSW team DONT NEED durant to win it all, thats the problem.

God, it's like mob of zombies here who are in love with the word "beta."

He chose the best passing team in basketball over the worst passing team in basketball. It's just common sense, if you really like the game of basketball.

The landscape of the NBA has changed, it's not the same as it used to be. Everyone wants to win and win now, everyone's trying to form super teams which is probably one of the reasons I respect Tim , dirk , Kobe etc.. They are loyal to their franchises. That being said, KD did what he thought was best for himself I presume. As a Spurs fan would you be sour if he had joined SA? That's my point everyone would be blowing tbeir load all over this board. Everyone's just upset he didn't join their team. Truth is I expected durant to join them , why can everyone else team up with who they want but he can't.as a laker fan I'm frightened because I don't see us accomplishing anything in the next 5 years because GSW have the ability to lock down those guys for a while. It's bull but it's what happened. Everyone needs to get better, which is probably good for us fans, I mean I want to see highly compe ive basketball all the time. If not just watch the WNBA

LeBron won a championship w/ Kyrie "I'm not a point guard" Irving & Jr "I only make contested shots" Smith in the backcourt b/c he made his teammates better instead of heroballin' or turning the ball over during crunch time. (Harden was their closer for a reason)

Dominos would have been bowing down to Kyrie if he was in Cleveland, dude called himself "The Servant".#beta

Agreed its the best move for him to win championships, overall its also good for the nba. The casuals and bandwagon fans gonna be happy but its bad for compe ion and parity in the nba

Durant is probably gonna be the warriors best player imo but this is a pussy beta move

In the end i guess i'll put a lot of the blame on the league, the lockout's aim was to increase parity in the nba, how did they not see this coming? Opting for a large increase in salary cap rather than a gradual increase every year

So Durant was going to go back to OKC, where they could fail to win again next year, then Westbrook would leave for LA, then Durant would be stuck never even making the conference finals for the rest of his career having to live in one of the worst cities in the country. Either that or he could live in the bay area with a young, fun, talented team that enjoys sharing the ball and scoring a lot of points.

Media would have preferred the one where Durant was "stuck."

Uhhh...all he had to do was sign a 1 yr contract then take care of the unfinished business next season. He would have been free to do whatever next summer but dude wanted the easy way out & didn't want the risk of joining a team that won a championship b/c he would have been a bonafide ring chaser.

What unfinished business? Another failed season with Westbrook? How often can you join the best team in the league and also get a max deal? That door wasn't going to be open next season.

    Yeah, WestBrick didn't outplay Wardell.

LeBron joined a lotto team w/ a shoot first point guard & turned them into the "best team in the league" in a matter of 2 seasons while earning the max.

Besides, if beta ass Dominos wanted to jump ship next summer the Duds could have EASILY dumped Barnes contract since the best available SF next summer is Jeff Green.

If Durbeta didn't think OKC was stacked enough, he could have just committed to one more year and the Thunder would have signed Horford. That team would have been locked and loaded.

It wasn't about the talent around him in OKC. Overall, he's had more help than many stars throughout NBA history could ever dream of. No, Durbeta went running to the Warriors because he's a pussy who doesn't want to be a superstar or live up to his talent. He'd rather take five shots a game and coast on a 73-win team.

Durbeta's the one who quit in Games 6 and 7. He's the reason it was a failed season for OKC, not Westbrook. Russ is just the scapegoat every year for Durbeta's chokejobs - just like Pau was for Kobe and Blake is for CP0.

I cant believe some hardcore nba fans can actually justify franchise players leaving his team (A CONTENDER) to join an all time great team no less

Sure its great for durant, its also a weak pussy move, bottomline

Harden wasn't all that in OKC. He was surprisingly better than most bench players, but we were all shocked that Houston made him a starting PG at that salary. He's done basically nothing but shoot FTs in Houston.

    Ibaka aint

Westbrook is a loser, confirmed by Dale.

There's no reason to stay around a place that doesn't improve. Plus the stench of bathtub cooking and shed labs in the AO has to get all up in your nose.

So in the same sentence, you say he wasn't all that in OKC but was better than most bench players. His 18 and 5 on 60 percent 3 point shooting helped lead them to that backdoor sweep of SA. And they hadn't been back to the finals since. And in Houston, all he has done is lead them to the playoffs every year with a meddlesome owner.
