Only thing I can see is the Spurs considering a straight up trade at the deadline for DeMarcus Cousins by sending them Aldridge. Do the Spurs want Cousins? Would Aldridge want to be the man in Sac? Unless they really slip I see them standing pat otherwise.

Realistically right now, this team has the 2nd best record in the league, is 2nd in the West and still trying to build chemistry...

With that in mind, I don't see any moves. Improvement will have to come internally.
This. Anybody thinking any of these guys are getting traded are pipe dreaming. Not saying I like too many of our guys right now but this is exactly what I'm thinking. Spurs only real shot at a ring is to keep this team intact and hope and pray some chemistry bonds this mess together. It cooooooouuuuullld happen.

If they gave Ginobili 14mil, I don't see them moving Parker.

    Stand pat or trade lma/gasol.

No potential net in return for Bertans and Dedmon. Mills is untouchable. Others are scrubs

lol The FO will never trade a member of the old big 3. They will give them loyalty contracts until they retire.

They'll stand pat but TD will get tired of seeing our front court play like pussies over and over again and decide to give it one more go in a couple months.

Are they seriously going to watch the sickening predictability of it all without making a single move?

Gasol and Dirk starting. That would be funny to watch. Not sure I'd do it though with Bogut's injury problems but he wouldn't be on the books after this season giving the Spurs room to make moves.

PATFO stays put. They can't let go of their egos to admit the team they assembled sucks.

There's nothing they can really do to put themselves on the Warriors level, tbh..they'll be fine vs. anybody else, though..

They're missing a legit #2 option at PG(Aldridge is ideal as the 3rd guy, see: Durant-Westbroook-Ibaka, Lebron-Irving-Love, etc), which they won't have for years, at the very least

A clear admission that the Spurs' goal this season is NOT the LOB. What is PATFO's goal - 2nd round? That would be realistic for this team. But if they don't either A) turn the keys over Murray or B) make a serious upgrade in the backcourt what is PATFO's goal for next season. One more season of Tony's starting at PG would likely be a signal to Kawhi to bolt.

I really don't know. There have lately always been super teams so I suspect putting themselves in the best spot to get a shot but realistically Tony and Manu are too old for this and they are still important to the team. Patty and Danny are role players, Simmons is a guy who bought his way into a dleague tryout and his best skill is his amazing athleticism in transition. He's not a jumpshooter and when the game stays in half court sets he can be taken Out of his game. I hope he finds his game for the team's sake, but none of these are news to Pop. He invested in the big men and it is what it is.

That said, Pop needs to start working Dijon in somehow a few minutes maybe in the first half. I bet he wouldn't have played Davis if Pau wasn't injured...
