Didn't Korver's wife veto him coming here as a free agent back when he was good? Please no more 35+ players.

Not that it's related but how would people feel about a Monta Ellis trade?

He's not been great obviously this year (or last for that matter) and he's 31/32 I think but seems like he may be available for a reasonable offer.

He has 2 more years on his deal after this one though at 11M per.

I will be honest for me all these trades are just entertainment, I don't think Spurs trade anybody midseason... except maybe one of the youngins but they are all cheap, very young still and have some role that they have performed well enough for their spots in the rotation... The guys higher up in the rotation with enough salary to trade for some contributor are not up for trade and the team is performing up to expectations....

Holy I didn't realize he was having such an awful year. He's got a worse PER than Anderson.

Yeah. Pussy whipped soft ass. She probably told him to go to Atlanta so she can bang more big black guys.

He's had a few injuries that have kept them out and INDY has been big time up & down. Was thinking he may be available, need a change of scenery and perhaps might add an element our guards are lacking. Dont love it, but someone I was thinking might be worth a swing on for a reasonable cost.

It's unfortunate. Tim could have given her a heads up about the Mexican personal trainers this city boasts.

Ellis would be the penetrating guard this team needs when Tony can't get it done, but they don't have the salaries to match without giving up Green.

Ya - it's not likely they can work something out due to salaries, but was more thinking about fit at the moment.

He's playing in the same system that made G.Hill look like Mario Chalmers.

the team will rely on defense. the offense will take care of itself.

that trade takes parker off next year's books. so we'll have money for this summer.

Pop better not double-down on the show the offense becomes when Parker or Manu isn't in and having a good game. The last thing I want to see is more midrange pull-ups off no movement.

Problem is Manu at this point isn't a 25 minutes a night player... and Patty isn't a guy you want on the floor 30+ minutes a game with a 2 who can't handle the ball and a 3 who isn't an above average facilitator. Can patty be a starting pg and a primary ball handler in the NBA? Probably, but if you want to be more than a fringe playoff team or even lower you want to have a strong secondary ball handler / facilitator in the lineup most of the time. you always want one but when your starting pg's weakest skill is probably play making then it becomes more of a requirement than a luxury.

Gambit in your starting line up listed there with Mills who is an above average passer or playmaker for their position? The second unit has fairly weak D and while dedmon is a better defender than gasol LMA is a better defender than Millsap. (Though its not a huge difference).

Also the only way Parker doesn't retire a spur is if he demands a trade or gets offered a re ed sum by another team summer of 2018. Because he will get offered league minimum for his years +1.5 million to be the spurs back-up pg then.... Not because his play will dictate that but because the spurs as an organization don't turn on their hall of fame players.
