If this was the more pathetic, I'll take it, tbh... we were there to the end and had every chance to win it.

Have we been blown out this season yet?
    YES!! TWICE!!

    No, it's not.

The Orlando loss was much worse off the top of my head. I've said it many times in the GT, but the al ude was a real factor. This wasn't normal cir stances. If we lost this in Phoenix or SA, I'd be on board. But the guys were clearly winded/sloppy.

It's not a big deal man. But every single loss this team suffers, without fail people call it the worst loss or the team is fools gold, etc... 82-0 isn't likely going to happen folks, like ever.

This isn't brand new stuff ya'll. We've had disappointing losses the last 20 years in the reg season, that have meant squat in the playoffs

Did you expect to get blown out by the 12-27 lottery bound Suns? Must have slept through the two clippers games and det core game at home.
We've lost and gotten blown out even in championship years with Duncan onboard... there was a time we couldn't beat the ing lottery bound Bucks for years on end.

So, yeah, this isn't new and we had a ty 2nd half... c'est la vie

Somebody mentioned the Clippers game... and what was the other one? I mean, THAT is pathetic. No Griffin and we rolled over. We were missing Manu, but still...

Actually it's a fairly predictable loss. If you combine the al ude plus distractions for the Spurs, while this was old hat for the Suns having played here earlier this week, with time to get used to the environment. The later is a massive advantage. Then we have 2 backup guards out, yeah, you could see an upset here. Not saying the SPurs shouldn't have won, they most definitely should, but its more understandable (and thus less pathetic) than losing to Orlando.
Yep, I had a very uneasy feeling about this game.

Our first loss of the season we were blown out by the Jazz then blown out by the clippers when Aldridge let Griffin have a 26 point first half.

I'm not worried. This is a new team and it is common to lose close games in this situation. They'll get better and the law of averages will work and we'll win a close one in the playoffs.

It isn't the losing, it's the manner in which they're losing. The team can't get defensive stops.

But we did get stops and had a couple chances to win the game. We just blew it. Better now that in the playoffs.

Clippers and Orlando I think, no?

But in fairness, yeah Spurs have been pretty good st not getting their teeth kicked in.

Edit: I see other people already answered the question.

Clippers early season.... jazz won one also early season game that wasn't close at the end.. Georgie and group did a number on Gasol/Tony without Hayward... but both games were very early in the season and the team has been much better since.

however since this is a thread about the most pathetic.... I don't think it was as demoralizing as those other two games..

I didn't see either game as a "collapse." The Spurs played with zero passion and zero "respect for the game" in both games - especially on defense. A tenuous ten point lead is nothing in the NBA.

I agree. It's not the losing that hurts, it's HOW we're losing that's hurting. Truthfully, if Popovich gave a damn, we shouldn't have more than 2 or 3 losses this year

It's actually prolly a good thing we lost. Clips are most likely gonna be a 4 seed, let the warriors take them out while we easily beat Houston. I'm willing to have game 7 in Oakland then play clips in rd 2

When the Spurs have to play the Rockets without HCA and lose in 7, we can go back to some of these dumb giveaways. Inexcusable to lose to teams like this, worst team in the West.

Pau should NEVER EVER see minutes in crunch time. His defense completely destroys any value he has on offense.
