Not surprising, though..these are the people that yesterday's NBA fans loved watching..goons like Oakley and child-rapists like Karl Malone..the ridicule that yesterday's popular NBA figures have faced in the past 2 weeks alone has been painful to follow..Barkley, Phil Jackson, Pippen, Oakley, etc..smh..

There would be no "punking" if he just acted like a grown ass mature man. Hes 6'8 ing inches. He's ain't gangsta, he's just bigger than your average security guard. Yeah, real gangsta punking people half his size. And this dude cheered LeBron criticizing Barkleys of court antics.
There's nothing "gangsta" about this. He was unreasonable and thought he's literally untouchable in the building. There are far more effective ways to be heard so bullying your way and then getting thrown out to prison isn't one of them.

I don't get it. Dude is asked to leave and he has to leave. People like Stephen A Smith talk about how Oakley was a player, how people respected him, as if somehow that means anything in this situation. Any other fan gets beaten down once away from the cameras if they pull that overbearing . Excusing it because he played basketball is just creating and endorsing a separate class of citizen that gets preferential treatment by the law, and hasn't Smith ed about that all his career anyhow?
Put Steve in Philly, put Phil in GS. Same results in each city.
