2x All-Star Starter (Parker has 0), 2x DPOY (Parker has 0), All NBA 1st Team (Parker has 0). Not that career accomplishments have anything to do with current play.
as much as I hate Parker, he wasn't the problem today. The problem was Mills, Aldridge, and Green. Danny Green is paid 10 ing million a year to hit open 3s and play defense. I'm sick of him getting these dumb fouls and then looking at the refs with his hands up like "what did I do?". I'm tired of those 3. Mills gets trigger happy and stats jacking up shots off the bench like he's Vinnie Johnson and keeps turning the ing ball over. Aldridge just can't hit . da .
It was really ugly.
Wait what? Obviously LMA, Paddy and Green sucked too, but you can't be free of blame when you get paid $15 mill and score a whopping 0 points.![]()
Parker wasn't looking to score. He wasn't forcing the issue and playing hero ball. We can't say that we want him to stop shooting as much and then criticize him for not shooting as much. He played a pg today. The loss today has absolutely nothing to do with Parker's play.
That's dumb. You act like the only two options are heroball or scoring 0 points. How about contributing without heroballing? That'd be nice.
Look, I'm not a parker fan. Any chance I gt to throw that mf under a bus, I'm taking it. But he wasn't the problem today. The problem is Danny Green driving the lane and instead of dunking the ball he misses layups or passes it back out when it looks as if someone is gonna jump. The problem is mills can't hit a ing jumper and make a simple pass late in the game. The problem is that we got a 6'11 270 lb shooting guard that can't hit mid range shots when open
Mills is Eddie House, tbh.
Even if Pop would trade Tony, Phil isn't so stupid that he would take him.
and one first round one second round draft
Phil has owned Pop, he is not going to stop now
Okay, maybe Phil could be enticed, but Pop isn't trading his son, Tony.
it is time to leave home after 18
Yes, but he provides immeasurable leadership and moxie.Tony Parker scored 0 points
I'd love to deal Parker too, but damn we don't need more forwards in the SL.
Knicks will do that in hearbeat. They are not going anywhere with Melo and Rose. Just one year of Parker is better than 3 years of Carmelo. And Green contracts is very good in new CBA.
Spurs won`t do it
Point guards are like QB's. Nothing wrong with a quarterback that fails to throw a touchdown, as long as he's handing off to the running backs who win the game. The fact that we didn't win and shot such a lousy percentage is a bigger blight on Tony (and Patty and Manu) who set up the offense than points scored individually.
Which is exactly what he's done all season: 11/5 on 48%. It's exactly what you wanted said you wanted from him.
