They could drop a number of these next games coming up, they have a tough schedule.
I 2nd the notion an I approve this message!

Great, another "asterisk" championship![]()
ing max kellerman "warriors without KD is basically the spurs"
Durant is out at least 4 weeks and will be re-evaluated at that point. No big deal, bring em on.
that. you win then you win. We could asterisk anyone else's by saying that Timmy had to prematurely retire. Or that Parker has a bum knee. asterisks. A ring is a ring. If you trade your depth for one player then you suffer the consequences if that player gets hurt.
Lol nobody puts an asterisk on the Lakers 2000 le because of Tim's injury.
Preach on
No, you're right but it would still be far more satisfying to beat the Warriors with a chump KD on the floor
A le is satisfying no matter what. You think GS gives a that they won theirs when Kyrie and Love were injured?
Oh yeah. No doubt. But unless that's a guarantee, I'd rather the Spurs play a weaker GS team. Or even better, have someone else beat them before the WCF.
K fine: "...a little more satisfying..." FIFY?
I'd feel bad for him, but that bandwagon move to GSW....
Warriors without KD only made our matchup a fair fight.
Increases the Spurs chances of catching the #1 seed, but I still think the Warriors hold on to it.
Otherwise, non-issue unless he misses significant time in the playoffs beyond the first round, tbh.
Safe to say at least, he isn't going to be 100% for the entire playoffs..I would be lying to say that I didn't want to see one of their stars get hobbled..they stacked the deck and that was the only way to get a shot at them..
Meh, they still have Curry/Klay/Draymond...I wouldn't be so sure that we even make up that 4 game difference to get the 1st seed, but our chances obviously increased greatly. Will come down to whether we can win both of our remaining games against them.
As for the playoffs, it's just going to depend on whether he's 100% by the time the WCF rolls around. He'll have the first 2 rounds to ease back into things and get into a rhythm, so I'm not going to jump the gun and start getting excited at the thought of GS not being full strength by the time we'd be playing them.
All that being said, this injury certainly helps our chances at least a little bit. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the regular season plays out.
Spurs have a chance at the number one seed. But this year we play better on the road.
Agreed. Especially this year since Cleveland is going to be a juggernaut when bogut and deron get comfortable in Cleveland system.
There should be no asterik. It would be legit in my eyes
I doubt the Spurs get the 1st seed, tbh. Curry, Dryamond, Klay and co. will play with a purpose and GS will be just fine, for the rest of the RS.
Feeling bad about winning against a team that has 3 all-stars when your team only has one.![]()
Nobody cried for Tim Duncan when he missed the playoffs due to an injured knee in this third year. That's just one of the challenges to winning a le.
This..corny fans..32 yo Aldridge-- your in second option-- never got out of the second Round of playoffs in his entire career..
