    I knew Pop would eventually make Dedmon the starter. It was just a matter of time, and due to Pau being a respected player, he had to give him time before making such a move.

    Wow. Pop coming out early with the Dedmon quote. I thought he would ride the "we are easing Pau back" line for a while, but he just cut straight through it.

    Hopefully Pau continues to handle this like a pro - it would be so massive for the Spurs with the emergence of Dedmon if Pau truly bought into that role.

    The bench would definitely be the best in the league (especailly if Patty gets it going with a great passing big on the floor to play with).

    If Murray shines I wonder if Pop keeps that change as well (highly, highly doubtful obviously)

    I'm surprised - especially since with Pau starting the team was still looking good. Hopefully Gasol takes this like a pro. I also wonder if this will play a pivtotal role in Pau opting out now? Lot's of questions with this, but so far, so great with Pau beasting on the bench.
