Non-issue. The Cavs show up in the playoffs. The Warriors choke.
    22nd ranked defense...

    WRONG

    Spurs in 2013-2014 had a 2-5 stretch
    Mavs in 2010-2011 had a 2-7 stretch
Cavs last year had a 2-4 stretch
    Heat in 2011-2012 had a 5-6 stretch

People are just making something out of nothing. The Warriors are without their best player who happens to be a top 3 player in the world too....... Cavs without Lebron could easily go 2-5, they're having a stretch like that WITH Lebron... and Spurs without Kawhi fell into a 28 point hole v the freakin Kings...
Spurs in 2014 went 2-5 when Leonard was out, Mavs went 2-7 when Dirk was out, I didn't check the other teams but none of those records are as bad as 2-5, tbh.

And this is exactly my point, contenders don't go 2-5 becuse of "coasting" or "boredom", they go 2-5 because stars go down and/or the team is struggling.

My point wasn't that contenders can't go 2-5, it's that if they go 2-5 is because they are struggling, not because they are coasting, tbh.

P/S: When are you changing your favourite team from "Mavericks" to "Warriors", tbh?

Yeah... it was when Dirk got injured

But Durant is injured for the Warriors.
Looking now, it was even worse and a stretch of 10 losses in 13 games.
Even late in that season the boys had a 4 game losing streak
Well you can't really make a comparison tbh, totally different situations...no one expected us to win that year, we were a dark horse...and our team sans Dirk and Caron had no one of Currys and Thompsons caliber to carry us offensively tbh, so it's only natural we dropped games

Jumpshooters that depend on rhythm and confidence. They don't have either right now. Curry is no longer in God mode. They can't score by grinding it out, so when they aren't dominant from outside they start panicking a little.

Their emotional core isn't very strong and it never has been. Earlier in the season they sensed this - because they were missing a bulk of their role players - and tried to swagger and posture their way through it. Durant isn't a leader. The only leader they have is Draymond, who is a , but at least he wants to win and yell at guys to get them in line. David West and Zaza Pachulia are surly assholes who even their teammates hate.

Yeah, lucky for them that Thompson is at least reliable playing at home & Green is indeed dependable on defense, Curry is really sucking right now, dry spells from anything further than 10 feet.

They didn't get off to a sizzling start because they had to integrate Durant.

Then Durant went down and they are looking like a non-playoff team since (going 2-5, including the WAS game where Durant went down, beating only the Knicks and Hawks during that time).

Sure Bogut's illegal screens were missed, and Harrison Barnes' offense was important at times, but how can they drop from a 73 win team to such a horrible team when most of their core are still playing?
People (not you) underestimated how mich Durant meant to this team ... plus two straight finals runs? Team usa for most of their core has worn them out (plus they are top heavy)
No excuses though they look lime fried dog lately

Nothing. Probably bored and uninterested. After a couple long and deep runs in the post season, that following regular season seems so long and tedious and irrelevant. Having a new toy like Durant kept things interesting earlier in the season. Now they're bored and just waiting for the playoffs to get here.
Nope. They are a mentally weak team who is truly unproven when it comes to winning a championship. 2015 was a bs fluky le due to Irving going down. They had their true legit le shot with history on the line and a 3-1 series lead, and they flat out failed. They aren't over that by any means. Those demons will resurface again along with certain teams being able to expose their flaws in the playoffs. When all of that comes clashing together, the Warriors will simply implode.

    Better?

Still no Durant. Still have an excuse. Same unlikable coach. Same choking mental midgets. Same hating teammates.

Probably a fluke 9 game stretch.
