Yeah, he's a big X-Factor. Microwave players always are. You don't win without a 6th man who can come in and change gears.

    Key phrase: 6th man.

And yet some people are still being "pulled back in" by Porker..
The Helmet Crew got their wish last season in the playoffs. And House was the worst in' player against OKC.

Start House? And then what? Who's the back up PG? Forbes? Parker alongside a unit he's totally incompatible with? An undeveloped Murray?

    You dunces don't think out.

I wonder who is the best three point shooter in current Spurs line-up?

    Green?

    Kawhi?

    Mills?

    Bertans?

    Manu?

    Gasol?

    or Forbes?
at least this season, it's Gasol. Shooting 52% currently

A good shooter just keeps shooting, no matter how many he's already missed. So does Tony.
I thought you knew, once a player misses 5 shots in a row he can't take any more for the rest of his career.

Tony played a good floor game for 3 quarters. His shot was off and short. It happens to old guys. But he was a part of keeping the Spurs from melting down completely in the first 2 quarters as they have been liable to do.

The problem with Mills is that, if his shot isn't going down he's useless. Even with this exaggerated hustling.

I'm not a Tony-hater, but he wasn't good last night. I was making a joke. But honestly, those two shots he took in the 4th quarter? The only thing I wanted to see less would have been Danny shooting off the dribble. I guess sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you - but I'm pretty sure there's a reason they didn't mind letting him take those shots.

If Parker is skidding then Patty being hot -or not- may well determine if we Chip or not.

Enrique squandered a decent 4th Qtr lead bc he thought it was his time to be the hero even though he was shooting a whopping 0%. Thank god MVPaddy came in to save the day, tbh.
I didn't realize taking two 4th quarter shots was considered heroballing.

It is when you're a ing scrub shooting 0% for the game. Can you imagine Matt Barnes, Beverly, or Mbah a Moute taking those kind of shots for their teams?

But it's really more about the fact that he still has a huge desire to put his stamp on the game in the clutch so he can end up being the hero. It's always been his problem but now that he's a complete scrub it's become absolutely cancerous, tbh.

So what? Doesn't mean I think House should start.

I was all for Murray being developed as an insurance policy in the likelihood that Parker would be injured/suck in the playoffs. But that's obviously not going to happen, so you better just deal with it and hope Parker turns back the clock. House starting isn't a in' solution. It totally kills our guard depth.

Again, you morons don't think out.

Bashing aside, right now we all need to hope for Tony to have some kind of late bloom this season.

It´s a longshot considering he is having a lot of trouble to stay on the court in the closing minutes. But that really is our only hope of a deep playoff run.

The problem is that while Mills has a higher floor we know his ceiling isn't good enough. TP has a lot of bad games, but even at 35, TP's best (which is inconsistent) is still wildly better than Mills' best.
