You would think someone would bring up Kawhi's head-to-head record against other MVP candidates. But I guess actually winning the games is meaningless.![]()
Outside of Kawhi MVP race, only using 1 advanced stat to try and underscore how bad Isaiah Thomas's D is and Iggy 6th man (even though he's been playing heaps better since Durant has been out) the rest aren't bad choices & mentions.

Apparently losses don't matter anymore. As long as you can stat pad.![]()
I guess those four more wins that the Warriors likely finish the season with compared to the Spurs are good enough to place three guys on an all NBA team and to lock up exec of the year, DPOY and 6MOY.
You can see how little he knows by the fact that he doesn't even try to name an all defense team.
Anyway, Kawhi knows there's only one MVP that matters.
Exactly my friend. Isn't wins and losses the most important stat of all?
I don't give a how ty the numbers indicate the Cavs are without Lebron. You can't give Lebron second place when the Cavs have underperformed as much as they did this season.
Imagine having Leroids #2 on your MVP list
Blew a 26pt lead in the 4th
Since this is a Pelton thread, I thought I'd put this here even though it's off topic. Kevin gives Golden State the following chances to sweep their "most likely" opponent by round:
- First round (Portland): 63.4 percent
- Conference semifinals (LA Clippers): 46.2 percent
- Conference finals (San Antonio): 10.1 percent
- NBA Finals (Cleveland): 29.0 percent
He gives them about 1 % to go 16 - 0.
Think that 10% is high or low? If Spurs-Dubs played 10 series, would the Spurs be swept more than once? And how many series do the Spurs win? http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19157052/kevin-pelton-weekly-nba-mailbag-warriors-sweep-field
I think it will be incredibly hard for GS to sweep the Spurs. SA will get a least two games.
Whats wrong with this sucker? all those advanced stats and yet Rihanna got more uncontested rebounds than anybody in the whole league, you can brag about triple-octuples all day but after all is said and done he ended up sixth and by playing and hogging the ball every possesion he is not making his team mates any better.
