No offense, but the Mavs are a terrible, lazy comparison. Dirk was the one constant in Dallas. They changed coaches and the core around Dirk several times. They didn't just keep running the Nash/Dirk/Finley core back every year until the wheels fell off.

Their biggest problem with Griffin, aside from being fragile, is his talent is wasted because Paul needs the ball in his hands all the time - they both do. Just not a good fit. Should have traded Griffin for an average stretch 4 and decent small forward.
