Aldridge and Gasol are the worst thing to ever happen to the Spurs. Two older big guys who shoot long 2's, can't play a lick of D, and can't pass the ball or make other players around them better.
Watching our offense is like torture. Danny Green hasn't seen an open 3 in 2 years. Our guys don't even try to move the ball anymore. It's impossible with the personnel we have. We used to have great passing bigs and wings. Whose the best passer on this team now? Ginobili? Dear God.

It's his heart but not a cardiac issue. His heart isn't in it. I think Pop lost him when he relegated him to Kawhi's rag.
Aldridge is one of the best defenders in the league. Yeah he's not an offensive star, but you're wrong on his defense. I think he's worth keeping around (for less than the max) for that reason alone.

If the Spurs want to compete for a championship, they need more than what Aldridge can give, apparently. A hobbled, gray Duncan was better. He's not the only lame on the team, of course, but he's paid too much for that garbage.
