Not really. It's beyond gravy at this point.
Meh, you'll never feel as low as 2013 and as high as 2014, as an NBA fan, tbh..
The past 2 seasons have been especially irrelevant, since the Warriors are in a different universe than the rest of the West..
Not really. It's beyond gravy at this point.
Tell that to Kawhi.
Further, you. Spurs were blown out in the '05 Finals. What was the subject of your thread then?
lol
2013 Game 6 followed by the whole 2014 postseason run ruined me for Spurs games. I honestly cant even get that upset anymore because I will never be that low again as I was in 2013. And I will never be that high again as I was at the championship game 5 in 2014.
Remember when Lakers got eliminated/humiliated by the Grizz? And Jackson annunced his retirement after the series?
Pop lost his fire. Spurs need a young coach who really cares about winning like Celtics' coach...That type of guy.

Nah..The writing was on the wall in the first round..
Not that these two teams are at all similar but everyone was saying the same back in 2014
Not much.
2013 is what really hurt.
I remeber telling myself I am giving up basketball![]()
Could be worse

Pretty much this. Whatever else the Spurs do on a positive note, I take. They play like embarrassing pieces of like today? Meh, whatever. Throw away the tape. Besides everything is a mere formality. We all know who will represent the West in the finals.
Yeah that series was the worst for me. Spurs got dominated from start to finish in that series. Plus the Kobe-Shaq Lakers were the team I hated the most all time. Which made that series more painful to take.
yeah that was the worst ing sequence of days for me.
I didn't tune into ESPN, listen to sports talk radio, log onto Spurstalk, or go to any basketball sites for months after 2013 happened.![]()
Not excusing pop hes the coach. as a fan i was lauhing by the 4th like is this for real.
Losses sting less too when you know Timmy isn't in there giving his all only for the team to let him down. It's easier to swallow a loss when you see guys like Aldridge getting stripped by Ryan Anderson, and Gasol just being virtually useless.
Pretty much this. I felt Duncan was a once in lifetime player and that the Spurs had to maximize their chances to win with him so whenever they lost it was very painful. Tonight's loss doesn't hurt it just infuriates me to see the lack of effort from Aldridge. He played with no spine in this game.
2013?
This century? You ing babies.
Of course it stings. A blowout loss like this in the playoffs is proof that A this is a matchup nightmare for this team like the 09? Suns were when they swept us with old Nash, and Drgic. And B a blowout like this just shows the entire team was unprepared. Even the 76ers would have fought harder and smarter. Its a pathetic finale to the Pop/Ginobili era.
It stings eventhou I been saying this team is a 2nd round exit team since december
Cant even imagine how much it stings to the homers out here who said Spurs woukd destroy the Rockets
They even created a lol clitchfans meltdown thread
It must sting those poor folks immensely cant even imagine the sting![]()
I do not think it could be said any better.
We get it, you're old, way to go.
I woke up this morning wondering if last night really happened. Felt like college, but not in a good way.
