damn
My Mid going in ITT though tbh, good job son![]()
Yup. I pointed this out in the Bulls series
Star players get preferntial treatment but thomas carrying is basically killing the game. Not even the iverson of the world carried the ball like this. Not kyrie...no one.
yesterday's NBA
couldn't play defense
having to clothesline guys that are a foot shooter than them, because they couldnt play defense
thug ball
Best PG is outplayed in finals and opponent guard wins le
Best PGs in the NBA are chuckers first and past next
Midgets have clear path down the lane to the hoop
PGs can lift the ball from underneath and move to the
other hand without it being a carry
51 3pt attempts in a game are the norm
No midrange game in the NBA
Post game is obsolete
talks back to another player and is T'd up twice
Players that go all out in games are now selfish
7'-9" PGs
6'-3" Posts (actually SGs)
Softcore bball, not real man Bball like it used to be
s crying at the foul line for being brushed by another player
It's equally as laughable today all the bs touch fouls that are called on defense. Any slight touch can be called a foul depending on how the ref is feeling at the moment. An NBA game is less physical than a game of flag football.
at the got rip through "move" being a thing that gets called multiple times in a game for certain players
A glorified Monta Ellis won six rings inyesterday's NBA.
That rip is nothing new.
It was even worse when Kobe and KD were getting freebies for it.
Spurs fan is the last person who should be complaining about that move since Duncan used it for years.
Not from the ing 3pt line son. That is disgraceful.
Tim didn't shoot threes
So it's bull when Harden does it but it wasclassball
when Duncan did?
I'm not speaking from a strategic standpoint in that regard, but from a game design standpoint. If I was coaching a team, I would adapt to whatever strat is most effective. But I'm against this positionless basketball notion on aesthetic grounds. Basketball is "evolving" to the point where everyone will essentially have to play like a perimeter player. I find that boring.
Perhaps but everyone is a rider on the merry-go-round, no one is pushing it. Everyone wants to make money, and that means winning for some and at least seeming to compete for others. There just aren't enough good bigs to backfill the 90's era play style. AAU is teaching seven footers to be 3pt shooters. I saw Thon ing Maker shooting 3s. Advanced metrics says a great offense beats a good defense. Not many great defenses in the league, but you find a ton more kids willing to improve their shooting vs improving their defense.
The only thing I hate about today's NBA is Harden, tbh..completely unwatchable player..
Exactly.
Houston is also an unwatchable team.
Pathetic how Harden is really a manufactured star by the refs. Evident by all the fouls Harden got in which there wasn't any contact that in today's NBA you are not allowed to play defense.
He's what the league needs. The micro-flopping and exaggerating of contact in critical game moments has gone on for a long time, but Harden is that dude who had superuser level access to the poker site and didn't know when to stop skinning the sheep. He is going to create rule changes and obsolete his own game. If he did it now and then, he'd do it for an entire career. He does it on every trip though, and it's so painfully obvious that announcers have settled with the notion that it's his "thing", and they lamented about the same thing when Patty did it to them. That's when Doug Collins said it needs to be curtailed, not the 20 times prior while James was doing it. His comment was "there are too many people doing it", as if it's ok that one or two assholes make their living off of it as long as the "sports media" can put them on a pedestal so the ignorant masses can marvel in their brilliance. If everyone does it, it becomes an eye sore and needs to stop. Same with hack-a- got. It's fine when the interesting team does it, but if the Spurs boring ass do it then and only then does it become a problem.
