Deadmon is the only guy that can keep Capella in check defensively...
Um... Capela isn't the problem. They can't contain Harden. You stop the ball, Clint goes nearly scoreless.

Sorry guys, but we aren't winning a le this year with a small ball line up, Houston and GS are better small ball teams. The hope was that our bigs would dominate small ball, but that hasn't happened. Still, there's really no choice. The best chance they have to win is to hope they hit pay dirt with their bigs eventually.

i'm guessing dedmon is glued to the bench because he is a fouling machine and Houston lives off drawing fouls
In that case, the same will probably be true for the GSW series if we make it..

I'll never understand the Dedmon thing and I'm not even saying he has to start. But if you want an athletic shot blocking big who can defend the PNR why doesn't he atleast get a chance. Then on offense put him with 4 shooters and do the rim runs for alley-oops every other team kills us with. He would also gooble all the rebounds.

The big question is how can Pop get Gasol/LMA the ball close enough to the rim that they don't have to dribble when guarded by smalls. Neither one of these guys wants to back down a small, who will just flop anyway. It's got to be catch and shoot two feet from the hoop.

Pop is right. Unfortunately Gasol and Aldridge have played ridiculously poor in the post. Garden should be fouling out , or too tired to jump shoot after being in the post all day.

Dedmon averages 1 foul per minute, that's why he doesn't play. You definitely can not have the rockets in the bonus. They get enough calls as is.

We beat Houston by 20+ pts when we go small.

Again, we run the Rockets out of the gym everytime we go small. On the regular sesson and during this series.

It doesn't matter what lineup we use, WCF is the Finals for the Spurs and the Warriors are the 2001 Lakers.

The Spurs were supposed to be a tough matchup for the Lakers that year. Going in, most of the predictions were for a long series. Dr. Jack Ramsay said "seven games, flip a coin."

If the Spurs make the WCF they'll be significant underdogs, even with only a 6 game difference in the regular season standings.

    smh take a break.
I guess you missed last years playoffs where the *unbeatable Warriors* were down 3-1 to OKC. Took a Judas Cupcake Durant sell out to get them past the West.

A lot of dumb s in here... most of you idiots don't know the basic concept of basketball or ever played a game your whole fat worthless beer drinking lives...

The reason Pop is going with 2 bigs is to protect the rim from there layups and force them to shoot the 3. Force them to live or die by the 3... it's been proven in the past that chucking up 3s won't get you to far... Besides our 2 big men the rest will try to put pressure on them in the wing to force them to drive it in the paint.

Many of you worthless fans don't appreciate anything we have from Parker to Manu to Pop... these guys are ing legendary have faith in them... if we lose we learn from it and try again next year by reloading.

    Use your ing heads already

Check the playoff record for the last 2 1/2 post seasons and counting. Now throw out the 2016 1st round record with Memphis having 4 of 5 starters injured and out.
    Not too pretty is it?
