Same thought..If Kawhi is banged up they gonna get swept, and it could be ugly ( ie 2001 Lakers style)..Otherwise, Warriors in 5 with Spurs winning one at home with huge Leonard effort + our bigs owning the glass..

spurs beating the warriors is obviously a long shot. i'm going with the spurs though. haven't decided how many games yet. was right about spurs overs grizzlies in 6, and the spurs beating the rockets in 6 after tony went down.
SPURS IN 5 tbh fwiw imho
the Worriers.
Spurs in 6. They have more than a punchers chance to steal Game 1 at GS. They'll be pumped from this win and getting Kawhi back. Only two days off which is decent but doesn't take away their rhythm.
Warriors in 5 is the logical pick, but hope the Spurs shock the world tbh
You mean when Kawhi went down? Or just TP?
I'm homing here but Spurs in 6!!
Spurs in 6. They've faced better teams and dealt with more playoff adversity while the Warriors (who choke when the pressure is at its peak) have had a cupcake road. I can't believe people here still think the Warriors will easily win a championship without dealing with major adversity. That has never existed. The demons from last year will return in this round. This is still the same Warrior team that tightens up the longer and tougher a series gets.
These are the two best teams (arguably in the league) in the West and finally SA gets their shot at GS. Really sucks TP is injured and Kawhi legit hobbled obviously. GS fully healthy and rested. Hopefully SA just does their thing though.
I thought the Spurs will get eliminated in the 2nd round, so they already exceed my expectations... I'd love beating the Warriors, but it will be very, very tough... I think it'll be Warriors in 5, but I hope I am wrong.
Warriors possess Houston's scariest elements(speed and volume 3-point shooting), but they also have the 2nd best defense in the NBA, in addition to paint scoring and 2 top 5 players in the NBAnot to mention Draymond Green, one of the most intimidating players in pro sports..
We already know that Kawhi will provide 25+ points a night with top-notch defense. If LMA shows up like he did tonight, then Spurs have a shot but it'll be 6 games minimum.
Warriors in 5.
Though to be fair, even the 2014 Spurs, 2007 Spurs, 2005 Spurs, 2003 Spurs, and 1999 Spurs would lose to this Warriors team. They're that good.
We just beat the Rockets by 40 in houston without Kawhi and Parker
I dont ing know anymore
Any of these choices look good![]()
Simons guard curry like harden spurs have a shot
My objective prediction is Warriors in 7.
I'm holding out hope for Spurs in 6.
Yup, I know you can only play who's in front on you, but cmon. GSW is already insanely stacked, and they getting the luck side of injuries too.
If the Spurs win, I promise to walk into work with my Duncan jersey (I live in SF)![]()
this is what i had to say the day after tony went down:
i didn't post worrying about the spurs getting it done without kawhi.
i also called simmons stepping up in this series, said he would play good in houston. he delivered.
Homer pick: Spurs in 6
Reality: Dubs in 5
i hope kawhi recovers quick. he's an injured spur that we need.
Pop vs Mike Brown should at least guarantee us one game, no?![]()
WTF! GS in 5 or 4? MuthaFKn Spurs in 6 or 5 baby! Are you telling me those fools are just gonna shoot lights out over our pretty damn great defenders? Also they have no interior defense. Even McGee is a shaqtin a fool hall of famer. The dubs are going to be confused ... Is it currys team or Durant? Plus their coach sux. Remember guys everyone said TP was our major flaw... well he gone now. Of course that is if KL is >90% and he doesn't get punked by Barnes. SA will stick it to the Golden gay s in 6. Ain't gonna rook us! KL will dominate Green.
