Don't teams typically update injury status based on the current health level of their player? I think when they listed him as questionable for game 3..it might be that his current sprain is "questionable".
I don't think teams generally make Injury status based on projected recovery.
If he's doubtful for Game 2 and and this morning he was updated as questionable for game 3..he's probably shown significant recovery.
5 days and half is okyish for what seems like a grade 2 sprain.
I've had a few sprains before and man..Even if you can play through it without pain..it just feels like your ankle is not ready for any weight pressure. It feels like a sponge.
Played soccee with a sprained ankle after 4 days spraining it and man was that brutal. It's tolerable i guess but still.

These are gigantic people jumping around putting extreme pressure on these ankles. It's like 10 times worse than people make them out to be. I got a feeling he is gonna play, but no doubt he is hurting right now.

It was going to be a tough series even with a fully healthy team, but without a healthy team it's just unfair. Even for all my homerism, this Kiwi injury got me down.
