Great thread. Thanks for starting and posting updates.

Also totally agree with this. I'd love to see them get an early second rounder and still keep the one they have. But even if that's not possible, trading up for an early second round pick could get them a legit player this time.

Does Becky have a contract with the Spurs? I'd trade her for a second round pick.
I'd trade Becky for a bag of feces tbh...

Question for the draft experts: How often do the Spurs draft one of the players they work out?

I'm guessing not too often; hence the "CIA Pop" moniker.

Surprised we don't see a lot more white Euros, tbh
Pretty sure the white ones are the most common, tbh.

This list is misleading bc in recent drafts that I can recall they drafted players that they didn't work out. Maybe the workouts are for 2nd round picks or undrafted FA..?

none in recent seasons that I can recall, at least for 1st round picks.

Kuzma has been rising through the draft process. Had a great combine.

Anzejs Pasecniks is moving up boards as well. Thought he might be around when we pick, but looking less and less likely. Can't teach maneuverability at 7'2 size.

Canyon Barry looks a heckuva lot more like Rick (below) than any of his other sons. He even has that 50's-60's haircut.

Right now he and DJ Wilson are my top picks, but I agree that this dude is moving up the board and probably will be gone

He wasn't the only white Euro in the draft.

And for every guy who moves up, someone else moves down. I've beens saying that I think this draft is going to have some good players still in the late first and early second rounds. I'd love to see the Spurs find a way get another bite at the apple early in the second round.

This could be a good draft where the spurs could nab some quality role players. I hope they acquire an early second round pick as well

I'd draft Barry just for the underhand FTs alone...

I feel like there are going to be some really solid players available in the second round this year. Wouldn't be mad at all about Kuzma or Blossomgame. Don't know much about Barry (besides him obviously being part of the Barry family and that he shoots underhanded free throws).

Barry is a 2nd-round prospect. He has good size for the position at 6'6 205 lbs with a 6'10" wingspan (same measurements as Danny Green), and is a surprisingly good athlete with an impressive42' vertical. And he was one of the best FT shooters in college last season at 88%, using the underhand technique just like his old man. Not sure how he is defensively though.

Canyon is going to get revenge for Brent on Tony. Watch him trip and fall into Tony's knees during Tony's first practice.
