I can only imagine the flack he's be copping if he's lost 7 finals. The fact is, as good as he is, I reckon only once (against the Thunder) has he had the better team.
Actually, OKC was a decent-sized favorite in that series, tbh..90% of this forum and the media picked them to beat Miami, as well..there's a lot of revisionist history going on with that series

Lebron-led teams have only been favored in 2 of his 8 Finals appearances(2011 and 2013)

As always they're gonna go after the white man. Love:::they're gonna beat his white ass till he can't sit down. They'll also get that other white guy Korver. There ain't no danger beatin' on the white guys. That's permitted and you won't end up on a bread line for doin' it. Pick on a black and you're susceptible to bad things.

who had a better season this year, the cavs or the bulls? why would this year be better for wade's legacy than lebrons?
You can't give LeBron credit for making the finals and simultaneously give him a pass for losing in the finals.

If he's making the finals because he's just so good, then when he loses five times when he gets to the finals, that shouldn't boost his resume.

If he's making it to the finals every year because the east is devoid of talent, then i suppose I'm okay with giving him a pass in the finals. It's not his fault the east is trash, and the Finals are usually the WCF, with the real finals being a formality. But LeBroom stans try to play both sides.

I guess that had a lot to do with Harden just being on fire against the Spurs and as good as we were that year (even though we didn't really have Danny Green yet) it just seemed like they were unstoppable when they beat us.

Everyone knows that the Heat got Carlisle'd by the Mavs zone defense but LeBron deserves plenty of blame in that series as well. having a mid 30's Jason Kidd lock you down for stretches during the Finals
Lebron did his part. Game 4, up 2-1 and having 3-1 all but sealed with a 74–65 early in the fourth quarter.
To a man, the Dallas roster said it was Wades showboating after a basket that lit a collective fire under them.

Along with heavy choking by Wade in the final minute.

why give someone credit for losing?
Exactly, why give credit to folks that lost earlier than the finals?

Who gives credit to Lebron for losing the finals? nobody. What spurraider21 is saying is that winning 3 championships and getting to the finals 5 more times is better than winning 3 championships and losing before even making the finals. I think this should be an obvious reasoning for all non-dumbasses, tbh.

you didnt address anything in my post, which is telling

why do you think it's more impressive to lose in the 1st round than to advance to the finals?

The ing rampant stupidity with posts like this is why ST still exists.

There's no such thing as "all but sealed" up 10 points at the start of the 4th. It's 10 ing points. Teams go on 10-0 runs all the time, in just a minute or two. If it was up 30 with 8 minutes to go, then sure. The Warriors were up 16 at the start of the 4th in 2013 in SA, and they lost.

If you think being up 10 with 12 minutes to play means you have it all but sealed, do you think being up 5 with 6 to play is the same "all but sealed" or how about 2 minutes left to play, up 3 points?

What is the "all but sealed" cutoff?

    a. Watch the game.
    b. Notice the score? Very defensive battle. Yes, some games and teams a 10 point lead is huge.
    c. Repeat, Wades dumbphuck taunting is what lit a fire under the Mavs.
