When they lost LT to old age and that dominant O-line was gone everything went down the drain for the Chargers. Rivers can't win without an OL, while RW has played and won without any resemblance of a decent OL his entire career.
Please. Struggle makes his O-line look worse than it is because he holds the ball for an eternity. Always has. Rivers' O-lines have been so bad that he barely has time to throw.

    Avante

That's a pretty stupid argument when we're talking about arguably the most mobile QB in the game vs. the least mobile QB in the game. And Wilson doesn't take very long to throw... actually watch the games, please? Rivers' antiquated stand-tall-in-the-pocket style by definition is heavily reliant on having that O-Line in place. Wilson has more room for improvising instead of having to choose between a sack or a hurried throw.

The fact remains that Struggle's scrambling and improvising makes his O-line look worse than it actually is. I'm not saying they're Cowboys status in terms of talent, but they wouldn't look as bad if Struggle could stand tall and get the ball out quickly like real quarterbacks do.

Rivers' O-lines have been the double-whammy of bad and injury-prone. If anything, he's made them look better than they really are, which is scary to think of because they're already awful.

I've seen him get it out quickly quite a bit, especially in 2015. It depends on the situation and the pass rush.
