Yep. Any Spurs fan who doesn't want the best player in the world on this team, or who thinks "we need don't him" to beat GS, is quite simply a dumbass. If this team had or has any chance to add Lebron, you do it by any means necessary (anything short of trading Kawhi, obviously, which would never happen anyways).

It makes sense for both sides, tbh.

CP3, Kawhi, and Bron could kill the Warriors almost regardless of who filled out the roster. And, as we've seen from the Bron Heat and now Durbeta Warriors, we shouldn't have much trouble attracting low-rent, aging-but-still-capable ring-chasing role players to fill out the roster (e.g., Vince Carter, Z Bo, etc.).

I could see LeBron playing 6-7 seasons in a Spurs uni to end his career and nab a couple more rings.

"He needs to get over himself first."

Pop and Lebron seem to have a pretty good relationship.

That's funny but not true. Lebron isn't a system guy. Teams around Lebron will play Lebron ball, which is mostly improvisational play. They do the basic high screen and roll but mostly it's iso ball from start to finish. They don't even need to break in new guys, just have them throw the ball to Lebron, Love or Irving. One of those guys will hit JR Smith if he's open, and TT will clean it up (like a good Kardashian should). Never see them run zone defense, never see them do any out of bounds plays that don't include Lebron doing something superhuman like full court passes or catching an alley oop from a half court pass.

The problem isn't that Lebron isn't with the right team, it's that Lebron is too good individually to think he needs the right team or coach. He can be successful at a high level doing what he wants.

But seriously who's been his best coach? Paul Silas?? Erik Spolestra?? He shoulder checked him and he was and still is Rileys whipping boy..

LeBron respects Pop the most because he's lost and Pop has made LeBron not feel or play like his dominant self..same can be said of Carlisle..

LeBron interest is that going to SA will extend his career which means more chances at catching Jordan..even though I think it won't happen..it makes total sense and is pretty fascinating thinking about lol

Your comment isn't very clear. Who is Riley's whipping boy?

I respect my dad. I don't want to live with him.

Lebron going to SA means a couple of things:

    1. Lower career stats and season stats because of rest and ball movement
    2. Sharing the spotlight with Kawhi Leonard, who according to ST doesn't need superstar help.

Lebron wants to be a billionaire. He won't do that in San Antonio where coach Pop gets the lion's share of credit now for team success. Lebron would have to go to the Wizards or Pelicans and get a ring for those respective teams to cement himself as the lord of the rings. For pure marketing reasons though, he has to be in LA or New York. If he could get New York to the Finals, he's golden.

I feel like Lebron is too high level a player to cheapen his career trajectory by jumping to a contender like KD did. Lebron will stay in Cleveland and people will come to him, I think. There's a rivalry already, and there's money in a rivalry. NY would be a better rivalry with Golden State since they are a huge market.

I would rather Kawhi beat him than play with him. But Kawhi really needs a second banana to help him out. LMA is not that guy.
