Paul George would never accept being a sidekick, tbh..not sure if you've followed him, but he's definitely looking to be the main guy on a team..
I was obviously kidding, tbh. But apparently he did say he's interested in the Spurs. He has a pretty good relationship with Kawhi. We are the second best team in the league. Let me dream son.

PG is only a realistic shot because most teams won't trade for him knowing he's leaving...for us it's a win/win if we can land him either way. Worst case we get rid of LMA and free up tons of space next season, best case we get PG long term. cant go wrong tbh

He could be one of the "main guys"...the new Wade/Lebron.

If George really thinks he is gonna win a le as the lead alpha, he apparently hasn't been paying attention the past 5 years.

Spurs are in a win-now mode, even if it's for a one year rental. it I say. If he leaves, he also leaves behind cap space.

I'd take him 100%, Spurs don't have anything to lose, unless some other stupid team is willing to trade a top 5-7 pick for Aldridge..just saying, only way he would ever consider staying is if the Spurs seriously challenge GS in year 1 IMO..

I agree with HH about PG and his desires, but if SA lands PG and CP3 this off season, I think PG *could* stay. Very unlikely, but its possible when you see KD make a name/brand in OKC, Bron make a brand in CLE, etc..

It's possible and PG got big in IND, but none are LA when it comes to THAT side of the business.

What'd be funny if we got g hill and Paul George and keep Bertans. Would be a spurs rape of the pacers. Traded hill for Kawhi and Bertans ended up with hill again AND Paul George.

RC > the ghost of Bird

Wrong guy, Lorbek was the third piece in the Hill/Kawhi trade.

Bringing over Lorbek just for the SAS @ IND game and starting Hill/George/Leonard/Bertans/Lorbek would be the ultimate middle finger.

When we play in Indy bring in Lorbek for a 10 day and start the 5 of them. , hire Bird as and assistant coach and have him sit on the bench.

This, Spurs need to pursue PG13 as hard as they can. Should be the number one priority. Please RC.

The other thing is, Kawhi isn't much of a limelight guy. George could come in and have all the publicity he wants, Leonard wouldn't care.

BTW I don't believe any of this. I've gone around and read about the credibility of the guy who originally tweeted this and it's shady as as well as Amico's credibility who later confirmed it.

Not really. The pacers would laugh at us for signing that old p.o.s. lorbek.

That would be like cutting off your middle finger to get to a full starting 5 just to prove no real point at all.
