That's an easy question to answer. People dont know how to pronounce his name, and if he told them to pronounce it that way then we better dump him because who wants someone who cant pronounce his own name trying to play bball?

So would I, but I think it's extremely premature to even utter such an idea. He's incredibly raw. Who knows if he'll ever even make it to the NBA.
I think unless he is a bust in Europe to the point of making the Spurs amenable to renouncing him if he forces the issue, he'll make it TO the NBA with his guaranteed first round contract offer. Whether he'll make it IN the NBA is unknown, of course.

    Game 4 - 22 minutes; 12 points on 5-7 FG and 2-2 FT; 5 rebounds; 1 steal; 1 TO; 3 fouls.

Surprisingly to me, so far Mahinmi isn't putting up much in the way of blocked shots

Ian average 0.6 bpg last season. He hasn't put one if four games this season (not enough to conclude).

In france you have less block that in nba. 8 players average more than 1bpg last season in proA, 50 in nba (you have 18 teams in ProA and 30 in nba).
(more outside shoot and foultrouble in europe)

Even if i have not seen the games, I assume that he tries less to block shoot this season to stay away from foul trouble (he is a starter this season and must play more minutes)
