Austin bound on a 2 way.

To say he is already better than kyle is a take.

Nothing wrong with big wings with elite defensive instincts. Watch this guy work and improve.

He's got decent size and athleticism. Just doesn't have any skills right now and hope he develops them in San Antonio.

Let's be honest, Bowen and Green have next to zero skills and they've thrived in the Spurs.

I think he needs to lose a bit of weight. Too much muscle. Probably 15 pounds.

The thing I am trying to figure out about Blossom is how much athleticism he has. Dude hasn't really flashed anything.

Very hard dunk and with zero space to lift.

He's impressed me with a couple of rebounds. He can get off the floor and looks strong

But to put it in perspective, Murray had a standing dunk in college and routinely gets up high for slams. While Dejounte is definitely a good athlete, he's not like Westbrook or anything. Blossomgame should be a Simmons-level athlete if that's supposed to be his calling card, and he's not. I'm trying to figure out what his niche in the league will be.

The guy had his hands on Blossomgame's hips and got fouled and still finished that dunk and had zero space to run on the dunk. High difficulty.

Also do you understand it is harder for heavier players to jump higher? Simmons at 200 ain't flying at 240. got.

Blossomgame is a big boy. That was a tough ing dunk.

Blossomgame's calling card is not to be a simmons-level athlete (I don't even think he is a huge athlete to begin with(simmons)), he is a defender for 's sake.

    That's his calling card.

You were close to acting like an adult. But you bring up a good point. Blossom may need to lose some weight. Dude can't just be a short four unless he becomes a lot more skilled. If getting down to 220 or so makes his athleticism shine, that is a good goal. That weight should still allow him to defend PFs.

But he's been mostly at that so far. He has a way to go to be an NBA-caliber defender.

I think he's a three but he does need to lose some weight.

I think he's a three too. He doesn't really have a great wingspan. But I think he'll have to be able to defend twos, threes and four to have real value in the NBA, unless he's a Tony Allen--level defender.

That three-ball better come back then. He's been okay in the last few games in Vegas. But he can't be an average defender and subpar shooter. I really want to see him lock some guys down before projecting him.

    Called Kawhi since day 1...

Wouldn't surprise me if he's better than I expect him to be, but he's going to be a legit contributor next year.

Hop in the Blossomgame train while you can.
While i'd like to agree with you, I'm am thinking he'd be more of a G leaguer lifer, with scattered NBA games to add through his resume.. He might even go overseas.

How does Blossomgame compare as a prospect to PJ Tucker coming out of Texas?
