My point is that it doesn't matter what your opinion is on Trump - you shouldn't get to decide for anyone else whether he goes to the WH if invited. It might not be a big deal for KD, Curry and Kerr who hobnob with the elites/famous people, but for the lesser players, it's the chance of a lifetime to be honored at the WH.

The "lesser" players are earning more money than the average joe like 5x over.

They dont need this to to bolster their career.

Any Warrior who now decides to go to the WH is going to be censured by the media, these NBA stars above and any team will bow to public pressure and think twice about hiring this player. It does not matter now what that player thinks/wants, he will explicitly have to follow along with the prevailing examples set for him by these stars or suffer career consequences. How's that for choice?

What is the chance of a player (not a superstar) winning a championship? Is there any guarantee that this player is on the team when the Warriors win another ring? Or that there will be another President in the WH if they do win (3 1/2 years is a long time)? Do you think that their being honored as NBA champions is like a typical tour of the White House that a tourist books?
