It's the five game in 7 nights things or whatever. If Pop had more bigs he could have rested everyone against the 76ers like he did against OKC but he couldn't. He kinda rested Gasol still who played 12 uninspired minutes.

To be fair, Embiid was in the injured list and didn't decide to play until the last moment when they realized Pop was resting half the rotation and they smelled blood.

While I agree with getting LMA some rest, doing it here is just headscratching. Rest him against Portland or Sacramento where the Spurs don't have as good a chance of winning since others will be rested as well. Why keep punting games away?

At this point I'm fully backing Adam Silver to fine us half a million dollars or something close to it..It is the only language this senile got will understand and the only thing that will convince ownership to act and tell him to stop his resting bull ..

What is the league supposed to do? Scrap B2Bs entirely and do away with the occasional congested scheduling stretches...

Kyle did a very good job on Ben Simmons last game. Ben missed a ton of shots against the Spurs outside some transition baskets and some switches with Bryn... but of course, Ben got a ton of FT.

Kinda ironic that the Spurs lost big time against the Pistons even with Kawhi in that game.

Hilarious how these local writers have been reduced to the role of spin doctors explaining the official policy ..

Think it is inevitable that Silver will have to come hard on us with hefty record fine to stop this charade.. Despite the league cutting on B2Bs and stretching out the season, Pop is still unimpressed and keeps indulging in his resting shticks..

This new gimmick of holding out star players minutes before tip-off in total disregard to fans and viewers has to be stopped immediately..There is a business side to this sport that Pop and his crew are gratuitously sabotaging.. And that's when the league has to intervene..

I think Philly (especially with Brett Brown) knew Kawhi/TP/Manu werent playing, and of course Gay is out. Embiid said in an interview he wanted to play cause he wanted the opportunity to play against A Pop coached team

It's crazy that resting LMA against the Suns at home while they play their 3rd game in 4 nights has people so shook

Not that it's a big deal, but a road team wearing black alternates against us at home is slightly annoying imo.
