And if GRONK doesn't get hurt, and on and on and on. At no time did I think the Jags were winning the game, they were 9 points dogs for reason.
Beat the Steelers on the road, beat the Pats on the road.....that was never going to happen.
Eh,
Jaguars got punked in the 4th because ol Todd wash got in his own head and switched to a zone defense. That and Leonard Fournette didn't sell out and dive for that nice pass by Blake on the sideline. Jags could've legitimately won and its a shame they cost themselves the loss.

4th & inches near midfield... guarantee you Big Balls Doug Pederson, Belichick go for it, you have Leonard Fournette and a 6'6" QB, so either the run or (definitely) the sneak is probably a guaranteed first down. But you don't on your own defense by acquiescing to a three-and-out after they force a huge turnover like that. Punting the ball there was pussy conserva play, which always gets you beat against teams with elite QBs (NE, GB, NO, PHI with Wentz, etc). That was on Marrone.
Then, 3rd & 18 after the Dareus sack, that's where Doug Pederson & Belichick would have done their usual... line 7 defenders near the sticks, rush 4 (you have great rushers!) force the checkdown, make the tackle and get off the field... that's the EASY AND OBVIOUS thing to do when it's 3rd & a country mile... but instead, Marrone and his idiot DC play a vanilla zone and let Amendola of all people get wide open in the middle of the field. That play doesn't happen, and Jags get the ball back and kill a lot of clock, probably disallowing the comeback.
Then you have the refs and horrendous penalty disparity, which is another subject and one that still has me infuriated. 3rd down on the next drive, Jags receiver gets held a few yards deep on a pass and WTF NO FLAG??!??
NFL doing damage control; flagging videos that show the replay.
