Quiet s dont even like LA.
Why couldn't he have squashed the reports weeks ago? And he's still soft, made, tbh.

Thankfully there isn't a 73 win team in a major market stacked with young talent that has a max contract to throw at Kawhi.
Poor Kawhi, Pop's comments have forced him to put on an act, tbhlaughing with teammates on the bench, being noticeably more supportive of the on-court product and now this..
Hopefully he actually returns, though..just avoid the Warriors in round 1 and the Spurs can still make a run if he's healthy..
I love Spurs fans.
Fans: He needs to speak. He needs to tell his side, etc...
He addresses the media and ...
Fans: He’s lying, it’s a PR move, Pop forcing his camp into action.

Kawhi isn't perfect. He should be open to criticism and he just didn't handle this right.
Sign the extension this summer, and I will believe it.
If he signs a daughter's autograph today, then it's 100% PR, damage control, tbh.
This shouldn’t be a surprise. He is going to have $220 million reasons to want to stay in SA.
glad to hear he has been practicing with physical contact too
Kawhi may think he needs to make a cameo appearance (at least) in order to show he can still play and, thus, get the Max offer.
Hopefully it will all work out -- KL will come back, lead the team to the le and sign the Max on live TV on a float during the River Parade. (Well, we can always dream.)
I frankly thought aside from PR move (he needed to make it maybe even weeks ago)... maybe he's been rehearsing even...
More than anything it's a morale boost. If he wants the team to continue to fight. They have a brutal schedule and I think fans (based on the perception here and elsewhere) and perhaps teammates were checking out on this season.
Great song from a great LP for an unexpected, great event.![]()
yeah, and clapping his massive hands caused shockwaves that ruptured gay's ear drum tbh
Never suggested otherwise. It’s just funny to me that when he finally speaks there’s no way there’s any sincerity in his words according to fans.
Kawi is the man, I just hope this doesn't mess our top 20 draft pick.
We will probably never know the whole story, but he did not handle it right. I will take this statement at face value and celebrate now, though.
His answer to finishing his career as a Spur didn't really convince me. I hope he ain't lying. What is he supposed to say to that question? No. I wanna play in L.A? If he doesn't say yes to that question can you imagine what that would cause?

Translation: "You better offer me that supermax."
It's as believable as TP telling Eva that he didn't Erin, tbh.
Wishful thinking* he comes back tomorrow and dunks it on Zaza that causes Zaza to miss the playoffs
A let us hope Kawhi has gathered no moss...
