They definitely need the guys that are in a shooting slump to bounce back, which is why I brought it up... Of course the occasional homer Spurfan thinks that even bringing it up is a hate subject.
With a healthy Kawhi the Spurs could take down the Rockets, the Warriors are vulnerable, and the rest of the league is beatable by a fully healthy Spurs team.
His injury this year really did blow a golden opportunity to ring.
This team as it currently stands will fight, but we'll need some guys to make shots in the 4th quarter. We have zero closers beyond Gay and Ginobili, and both of those guys are too inconsistent to get us past multiple playoff rounds. LMA will carry us through 3 1/2 quarters on most nights, but then we need to be able to finish, and we just don't seem to have that this year unless Green and Mills can morph back into ice blooded shooters all of a sudden.
