that, I was onboard the tank wagon when it was possible for the Spurs to had gotten top 10 back in January.
Can Kori Ellis ban the words Dzanan Musa?
Me too. all the tankers around here.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Spurs try to give the depleted Warriors a run for their money, and seeing what draft day holds.
I hope he’s to ready play by 2022.
Amen to that bro! They are giving us no shot! I’m still gonna watch though!
At 18, there will definitely be some solid talent still available in this deep draft. We got lucky tbh. Just hope we don't blow it.
Players in that range
Robert Williams
Mitc Robinson
Jontay Porter
Dzanan Musa
Zhaire Smith
Gary Trent Jr.
Lonnie Walker
Jalen Brunson
Anfernee Simmons
Khyri Thomas
Troy Brown
Omer Yurtseven
Always look for the Spurs to (1) pick someone with the longest wingspan in proportion to his height; (2) draft someone lower than his expected draft position; or (3) pick another point guard.
Forgot about the giant forehead.
With this, if the Nets pick slips beyond its current 8th slot, Im less interested in dealing with Cleveland for a possible Leonard deal. After the 9th pick it starts to be a crap shoot.
Can we finally draft someone with athleticism now?
And with a funny name.
Miles Bridges is a poorman's Jabari Parker who's struggling to get minutes despite being a bucket getter & Gary Trent is at best Allen Crabb.
Finally getting some winning in.
Hopefully we get lucky and draft the next Fathead
Hopefully Mitc Robinson.
Hassan Whiteside of prep schools.....Pop couldn't even stand Dedmon
Best case scenario, trade down with the Suns (dump Patty by overselling his "passion") & draft Kevin Knox (he's a more athletic Tobias Harris)

You sure it wasn't Tony who picked Tails?
Never get tired of this one![]()
Lost in all the shuffle about the Spurs having the highest pick they've had since Tim is them having the 49th pick the second round. I've talked a number of times about how having mid-seconds helps with flexibility. Obviously, having a second like 10-15 picks higher would be even better, but the 49th pick has legit value compared to their normal picks. Like 18 and 49 may get the team up to 16, 15 or 14, which can make the difference between getting the guy they want without having to commit a more valuable asset. 49 is also high enough to get future value in a trade, similar to how the Spurs turned the 2008 45 into the 2008 48 and the 2009 37. In other words, it could help the team get a collection of mid-seconds that end up being surprisingly helpful in roster-building.
Of course, the 49th pick also has its own draft value. Decent international prospects go in that range, and they may get a chance at the last of the red-flag college guys who have first-round talent.
Kevin Knox will be a lottery pick.
