In my dream trade then lets send Leonard to LA for Ingram, Kuzma, Ball and balance the cash value with a signing of Randle. We then send Ball to Atlanta for their number one and select Doncic. Next, we make a deal with Minnesota to send LMA for Towns and a few bad contracts to balance. Gasol and Mills can stick around for teaching purposes.
If we could end up with Ingram, Kuzma, Randle via sign and trade, as for Lonzo I don't know of what trading him would net us since he is on his rookie contract, maybe in a three way with the Clips to somehow net Lou Williams. I wouldn't get rid of LMA because if we had LMA, Dijon, Ingram, Kuzma, Randle plus the vets it could be a interesting team to watch with long term potential. If I am the Spurs I am trying to lost Patty or Pau not LMA.

Why do people want the entire Lakers core? ew..

If these guys played for Charlotte or Detroit, we wouldn't even know their names..

You get nothing when Kiwi walks next summer and you gonna love it How about that?
The Lakers also get nothing if Kawhi walks next summer because they won't be able to afford him -- not if they sign LeBron and PG this summer.

The Big Three in LA only happens this summer or not at all.

Lakers fans coming out of their mediocrity hole to fap on rumors and all over themselves when they haven't signed anybody yet...

They've been irrelevant for so long that they forgot any notion of dignity.

I like this a lot and really why wouldn't Ball be worth a top 5 pick in value.

Even if Towns couldn't be had, the trio of Kuzma, Ingram, and Doncic in the Spurs system alongside LMA, Murray, Mills, Green, Anderson and the cornerstone Manu...that team easily makes the playoffs in 2019.

I think the Spurs would be happy having Kuz right now, had he fallen to their pick. But they shouldn't put any trade value on him higher than a late-first. He's trending with Jordan Clarkson, and while his rookie deal is twice as long and he has a better chance at improving than Clarkson did, I don't know that he has a ton of upside. There's a good chance he's better than whoever gets drafted at 12 or 13, but if you have those picks, you hope to get a guy better than Kuz. I'd be somewhat interested in sixth-overall, Ingram and Kuzma as a package, but I'd be more interested in 6, Ingram, 25 and 39.

By the way, I'm saying Kuzma is the very least we should get. And that's if the Spurs managment doesn't try hard.

We should be getting Kuzma AND Ingram.

Keep trying to force Orlando to make that trade for Ball with psychic vibes.

Nah, not only would I'd rather let Kawhi walk than take back just Kuz. I'd rather let Kawhi walk AND the Spurs trade next year's first to move up to 12 and then for them to pass on Walker, Smith Williams and a falling Bamba for Donte than have them take back just Kuz.
