When T Park predicts a loss...![]()
I don't panic when it comes to the spurs, but most people I know are upset that they've only won a single game. The average fan can't understand that this preseason is different than others because we have at least 3 new players that are going to get significant playing minutes, so we have to let them work through the system during pre-season. My question is when do we, the rational fans, start to worry?

When suns get Jared Reiner.
Are you holding yourself out as an above-average fan?

superior fan actually.![]()
Superior fans don't worry or panic.
I haven't
LMAO @ Intelligent fans panicing. That would be like dropping the tool during open heart surgery.
so I guess you were cool as a cu ber during the 3rd quarter of game 7 vs. the pistons?
I was pretty drunk, pretty calm and nervous sitting with some friends. When you know what your team is capable of, you don't really lose your cool til it's over. And when it was over, I did.
I didn't know it was so easy to be cool. This is a first. So someone tell me what else to do to be cool like this.
We have too much talent to panic, but if we look bad and lose convincingly on opeing night against Denver following that bad pre-season we had i would be a little concerned.
Well I was a wreck. I stripped down to my underwear because my clothes were jinxing the spurs.
Panic because Pop is keeping Timmy out of the injury box...
Relax... all according to plan....
Even Pop said at the Kick-off Luncheon that the Spurs aren't any good. I don't have the exact quote but it was something like:
We're 1-6...don't play D...and the head coach doesn't even show up for all of the games.

What's to panic about? Tim playing 18 mins a game in the Preseason? Manu 16? Pleasee, c'mon now. Preseason means . Let us be 0-11, who cares? I don't even know what any of the preseason records have been the last 20 years.

Folks, we are going to lose some games at the start of the season. If you have followed the Spurs for very long, you know this is the case. We always start out 7-7 or 10-9 every year no matter the talent level.
Do not panic. It is going to take some time for the team to gel and find their rhythm for this season. I know a lot of you are hoping for a 65-70 win season, but it is just not going to happen. Pop will focus more on finding good rotations and keeping key players rested at the beginning of the season.
Around January, we will find our groove and start putting together some nice winning streaks.
Please do not panic when we drop some early games to Denver, Dallas, etc. This is to be expected with the way the Spurs always begin seasons.
The time to panic is now! Start loading up the lifeboats so we can evacuate the bandwagon! Women and children first! Any volunteers to go down with the ship?
Leave anyone out?![]()
The time to panic is when Oberto looks like he's not picking up things because he's going to be starting sooner or later.
geeez regular season hasn't even started..This is not the time to be worrying!
I thought I'd top this thread given the loss on Sunday to DETROIT BASKETBALL
It's only December.............
Spurs are pretty much even stevens with every other spurs team around this time in december.
The problems and causes of bad play are different, but the result is the same.
We're not going to get 70 wins, so just stop comparing this team to the Bulls.
I bet the pistons ain't panicking
