Venom and spiderman plus carnage rated r movie would of been awesome. Would break rated R revenue records if done right.

Hollywood/sony has really ed up the spiderman franchise since the toby maguirre movies. Really, some skinny 5'7 spiderman who gains like 8 lbs of muscle? And then the new spiderman is some 5'4 12 year old little boy who weighs 120 lbs. They never get the right actors and always up the comic book storylines which are superior to whatever pc bull they come up with.

In the comics, peter parker is some skinny 5'10/5'11 165lbs nerdy guy who gets bitten then gets jacked up like 20 more lbs.

Now they've shotgunned their own Venom-verse (which will eventually include a lot of other Spiderman villains if they continue) in hopes of blending in Tom Holland at a later date. But it isn't going to work. They're just going to up these characters instead of saving them for future Marvel movies.

Yeah, SM2 holds up very well 14 years on. Take away Venom and emo dancing machine and 3 would actually be pretty good.
