37pt second quarter for the Blazers.
38pt third quarter for the Blazers.

They scored, and scored, and scored, while our $50M cash cow passed it to a referee.

Crater face played these two together again when they were trying to rally back as well as Dante Cunningham. Trump has broken him.

Zero idea why Cun was in the game and why Pop thought Patty made sense. Like just play four-on-five. At least that has some surprise factor to it.

DeRozan almost killed himself when he got traded. Sharing the court with both of these midgets for 50+ combined minutes a night might just do it. Shame on Drunkford!

66 combined minutes and both had the worst +/- on the team

It's time for Crater face to have another leave for "personal reasons". What a washed piece of .

Out of curiosity, what other options would you go with? Lakers play small. Lebron is the PF, therefore Gay is. DD is the SF. Cunningham was fouled out. So who is playing PG and SG other than Mills and Forbes. You want Beli out there defending?

Forbes was horrible yet again. They werent even guarding him on the 3s. But we had to bring the ball up court with Gay because Forbes was being rattled by Lonzo of all people. Also that re ed rebound foul, etc

Bertans could probably defend guards as well as Mills

Aldridge, Bertans, Gay, DD, Forbes/Beli depending on who's having the best game.

I would NEVER let both see the court together. A backcourt of Lonzo and Hart is as easy as it will get in the West and they combined for 34 points on 13/23fg, 7/14 3pt, 7ast, 2TO.

Just looked on BBRef. It has Mills and Forbes as both having negative on/offs (prior to this LAL game). I don't think that's even possible.

EDIT: It also has LMA with the worst defensive impact in the league. So I think it's just broke right now.

Double EDIT: All right, so it's possible because Patty and Bryn play a ton together, but what it implies is that them sharing the floor is so putrid that it is dragging down their separate ratings. Looking at the early pairings, that seems to be the case. Both guys have the other player in their top three worst pairings from the first two games. Incidentally, Beli is a net-god right now. He plays really well with DeRozan, Aldridge and Bertans. Could that be a legit starting unit? I don't see why not. If Murray were healthy, I could see Murray/Beli/DeRozan/Bertans/Aldridge being pretty damned potent, actually. The D would still be shot, but they'd get more turnovers and run more. Right now, the offense is being held together by Bryn filling in for DJM, and Gay shooting incredibly from behind the arc. I don't know that it's sustainable.

Don't see how bertans helps here. He didn't exactly help on D this game Hart and ball got a lot of looks because of Lebron. Going with mills and Forbes was the lesser evil and turned out to be a good decision.

First of all, no he wouldn't and if he could he would have in the last two years defend guards. Secondly mills and Forbes hit the clutch shots this game so by going with them was 100% the correct decision.

they basically gave up the lead with their stupid defense down crunch time when lakers were making their run on the counter with transition AND1 plays

if those 2 idiots didnt make them baskets when it was needed, they be blame for the loss, just like how DD kept on attacking the key with no calls with brick attempts...

You're comparing our backup guards to play more minutes than they should, be our best 3pt shooters, and defend athletic guards. If Bertans was forced in this situation due to injuries, do you think he will fair much better?

    Fatty Mills 8/22 shooting
    Bryn Forbes 4/12 shooting

Thats 12/34 (35.2FG%) from the field and a combined 60 minutes of playing time. You won't win any games if those gots take as many shot attempts as the splash bros do.
