I see them as a 9 seed unless Anthony Davis is traded or OKC collapses for real
They should just tank and miss the playoffs. Still a toss up but I see them going no higher than 8th.

Calendar gives us hope though. If Pop makes this group play at least some defense we can count on a nice run in the last 20 games against weaker opponents
I wanna say yes, as a 7th or 8th seed. But I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t, especially given the defensive personnel we have on our roster right now. We just don’t have the dogs to be a good defensive team, or an above-average one.
False. People are underestimating how bad our defense is. Numbers don't lie.
I dunno. Felt we would with Murray. Now.... I think we will be battling for the 6-8th seed at best, barring any significant changes during the season. Will need to see what White does for our team. Forbes shooting good, but everyone's numbers will look better with the higher scoring games.
False.
Don't care if I'm wrong and they make it to 1st round fodder.
IDK. It seems more about how to use them on court. It's pretty obvious that some combos aren't working..But this is Pop's time to experiment with lineups. Better now than in March
Mills is the only player that's in all 5 lineups.
Not with our defense as it now stands. If Pop would wake up and trade Gasol and Mills for a quality defensive player, preferably a 3 and D guy. We get DW and LW back and Pop actually plays them then yes, we might sneak in as a 7 or 8 seed.
Absolutely true. But I don’t think we have a playoff offense either. Way too dependent on LMA and DeMar. Those two cannot play at a high enough level game after game, which they must do, for the Spurs to reach the playoffs.
Well, I thought I was on my prediction game when I thought I was certain my Astros were going to repeat, but was dead wrong on that. With that said, I'm still going with yes, and as a 6th seed. Not going out on a limb too too too much there, lol.
Yep 6th seed sounds about right
They will. The team will beat those they are supposed to beat. Pop has long mastered the regulat season's many peaks and valleys.
Their seeding outside the Top 3 is another matter entirely. Still 4 games in.
Nope not by 8-10 games my dude
More like countdown until the team implodes due to everyone hating Mills getting minutes over Walker and white and LMA trade demand
??? So let's see.
1. GSW
2. HOU
3. UTA
4. DEN
5. POR
SAS ...???
7. MIN
8. NOH
LAC
LAL
OKC
Etc
Wtf? Spurs aren't even better than the Suns right now.
they need to miss the playoffs and focus on the retool/rebuild
instead of trying to protect some meaningless playoff record appearance...
Sad reality![]()
if they want that way the should’ve traded Aldridge and derozan for picks..
They will make the playoffs as an 8th seed and get swept by the warriors in the first round
they loss to the pacers. A team they supposed to beat at home.
I agree. I'm hoping Derrick White and Lonnie Walker 4th can give us some relief in the second half of the season. But, knowing Pop, LW 4 will probably spend most of his time in Austin. I just don't think we're going to do much this year if our defense doesn't get going. Trouble is we don't have guys who are natural at 'D' like we've had in the past.
